Media: Kids with gay dads do great!
Actual kids with a #gayfather:
"When I was going through puberty, that I found some of Dad’s books showing explicit pictures of men with other men. I was sickened by the images.
Although I never told him, it bothered me when, as a sign of affection, my father would put his hand on my butt instead of my back or shoulder. I didn’t feel molested or anything, but it made me uncomfortable, especially as I got older. I eventually tried to position myself so that I was always facing him, so that he couldn’t do that again.
When I had problems with the opposite sex, my father was no help, which he admitted to me...
For the most part, I only had to deal with one of my father’s partners. I’ll call him Eric.
Dad was adamant that everyone just had to accept that he and Eric were together whether we liked it or not. I get along okay with Eric, but I’ve never looked at him as a stepparent, like my father wanted. Unlike some stories I’ve heard, Dad and Eric weren’t sexual in front of me, though they would kiss and show other signs of affection. I tried to avert my gaze when they were like that.
I would hear Dad saying to people, “Oh, they’re just like brothers!” When he said that, it made me feel used, like he wanted me to be the poster child for gay couples with kids. He wanted me to be close to Eric, but wanting didn’t make it so.
I keep seeing articles stating that children with gay parents do just as well, if not better, than children with straight parents.
Where are they getting their information?
Have they interviewed any adult children with gay parents who can think for themselves and are no longer living with their parents?"
@selentelechia But that’s the thing just because you don’t have children doesn’t mean you don’t still want to hang out with them. A lot of people w kids assume the childless don’t relate to them anymore and stop inviting them to thing
You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea: In it, God tells a prophet to marry a woman He KNOWS will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, and used up. Essentially, she is worthless to the world.
Then, God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK, to pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. (Hosea 3)
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Bro, why would any man do that!?
Then I realized I was exactly like the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters and I sold myself cheap. In a way, I made myself worthless.
But, God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.” Instead, He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
What's beautiful about this is, that’s the entire Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself WORTHY of God.
Hosea showed me an amazing, present God who pays to redeem the unworthy. The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord!

I do wonder if this energy is returned when the dependents are not children. Do you check in on your friends with ailing parents? Bedridden siblings? Chronically ill cousins? Impoverished aunts? Or is tribe only a thing that mothers are allowed to dream of?
As much as I love being the contrarian, I must report that “You Can See Everything” is indeed an extraordinary bit of filmmaking. Just from a pure craft perspective, it is unquestionably a masterpiece. An effective and emotionally layered psychological thriller in the form of a documentary — and it holds your attention for 3 hours. I don’t think anyone has ever done anything like that with the documentary genre. And I say that as someone who has made two of them. Pretty easily the best movie of the year. It wont be to everyone’s taste but it’s hard to deny that, artistically, it’s a triumph. Other filmmakers in the genre (myself included) need to up their games. Meanwhile, Nathan Fielder — across TV and now film — has never made a bad piece of media. Batting a thousand. Remarkable.
“Women are the gatekeepers of sex.”
Okay, but you know when women shouldn’t HAVE to be the gatekeepers of sex? When dating a Christian man, because he’s ideally not gonna try to have sex with her.
If a woman dating a Christian man has to gatekeep sex, he’s a bad Christian and a bad man.
Many seem to be misunderstanding how the Noahide Laws apply to Christians, and I want to break it down for you, so you have all the information.
At a recent TPUSA event Ben Shapiro recommended Christians follow the seven Noahide laws “found in the Book of Genesis”:
Those are:
Do not worship idols, blaspheme, murder, commit sexual immorality, steal, eat flesh torn from a living animal, and do establish courts of justice.
First, they are not all found in the book of Genesis. Elements of just 2 of 7 are mentioned. Murder & eating animal flesh, but the Noahide laws themselves are a later rabbinic formulation found in the Talmud. Primarily, Sanhedrin 56A.
If you are new to the religion discussion, the Talmud is a highly revered collection of records in Rabbinic Judaism that is not recognized in Christianity.
Ben also only listed six of the seven. He left out the first one. Idolatry.
What is idolatry? Under the Noahide Laws, Jews and Gentiles are required to reject the worship of other gods and to recognize the one God.
Great. So what is the problem here?
The Jewish understanding of the Trinity.
Later Jewish authorities (most notably Maimonides in the 12th century) classified that Trinitarian Christianity (The belief that God is three co-equal, co-eternal persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is idolatry under the Noahide laws, despite Christians being monotheistic.
The Ashkenazi authorities at the time argued “shituf” for Christians (associating something else with God was NOT in violation of the Noahide Laws).
Um well thanks for that I guess, However, we also don’t believe that the Son and the Holy Spirit are “something else” apart from God.
Yet both sides codified these contradicting and incorrect misrepresentations of Christianity.
And we’re supposed to, I don’t know I guess get on board with one or the other and either be polytheists, or believe the Father is separate from the Son and the Holy Spirit.
So to be perfectly clear- there are two separate codifications for Christians in Jewish Noahide law that contradict each other- quite absolutely- while misrepresenting, trivializing, and reducing Christianity to a line item to be dealt with.
Why on earth would Christians cosign that? What the hell? lol.
To make matters even weirder, The First International Congress of Noahides is scheduled for November 2–6, 2026, in Jerusalem where about 65-70% of the population believe that the Trinity is idolatry.
Well gee, world congress that doesn’t understand Christianity aside, this doesn’t seem promising for Christians, at all.
So what’s the punishment for idolatry according to the Talmud?
Stoning. Sanhedrin 60b-61a.
Okay well to be fair, that is pretty dated. We probably don’t have to worry about be stoned for being dirty pagans, but still. Not a risk I want to stake my life on.
And no Christian should.
Jewish tradition may keep its Noahide laws, but the Talmud holds no authority over Christians. The Trinity is sacred, whole, and fully monotheistic. Ben Shapiro should not be using Charlie Kirk’s stages to lecture Christian youth under false pretenses, grossly misrepresenting our faith while Jewish law itself codifies it in two contradictory and insulting ways.
