We lost one of our brothers in Ilorin few days ago through motor accident, when we took his body to the Ilorin Muslim cemetery, we had delay in the burial process because of unavailability of plank to cover the grave to the extent that by the time the plank will be brought, the white cloth used to shrouded him has turned red due to blood stain.

Over time, this challenge has been one of the major problems we face in burying our dead in Ilorin Muslim cemetery. As a Ummah, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make donation of planks for 100 graves. Meaning for the next 100 people that will be buried in Ilorin Muslim cemetery, there won’t be problem with plank. For a grave, the plank and transportation fair from sawmill to cemetery cost 3k and 100 graves will be 300k. If we have enough Muslims to make donations to this, we will meet our target today or tomorrow and In Sha Allah, the plank will be donated on Sunday morning.
