(I might get cooked for this, but this is where I currently stand. I’m open to reasonable conversations and being challenged. If my view changes with better understanding, so be it.)
Unpopular opinion: I think we have underestimated the “completeness” of God’s healing power because we have held too much space for therapy that, in SOME cases, it weakens our trust in God’s absolute ability to heal the mind, the soul, and the body through His Spirit. Looking through Scripture, I hardly see Jesus heal someone and send them to therapy to “complete” the healing.
Rehab I understand, but placing too much confidence in therapy as the missing piece is something I struggle to understand. The Holy Spirit is still able to do His perfect work. Let us not limit the power of God by our unbelief.
My mom has never called me “Oloshi” or “Oponu” in all my 27 years on earth, but I’m supposed to let a partner use them when they are pissed, because, it’s not that deep lol.
Pack everyone into therapy.
“Ode” with a smile/laugh is the only one that can be used endearingly.🚶🏿♂️
2 weeks ago I saw 35 patients between 7am - 2pm on an empty stomach.
Stepped out for a 45 minute break.
You could see how visibly angry the remaining patients were that I took a break. One even said to reception “20 minutes don pass, doctor never rest finish?”

The glow-up is not in the guide anyone is selling you, or the post asking you to comment “glow up” for a checklist.
The glow-up happens in the mundane, daily adjustments that scarcely seem worth mentioning. They gather slowwwlyyy, almost imperceptibly, until one day their cumulative weight announces itself.
And you’ll know.
You’ll know you’re no longer chasing transformation; but living it.
The GLOW-UP FALLACY
Fallacy (noun): an idea so widely believed that we rarely stop to ask whether it is true.
The glow-up fallacy then, is the assumption that another person’s transformation be replicated, as though growth were something transferable instead of deeply personal.
Find a good Asian coffee shop and become a regular there. Study, relax, make friends, support their business.
Be strongly opinionated about the things that govern your life and values.
Be courageous enough to imagine things, and even more courageous to bring them to life.
Play with colours. Dance in the rain. Sing with a cracked voice. Paint ugly pictures. I could keep going.
Oh, the blessedness of kingdom friendships—where you never hesitate or feel awkward about dropping their calls and sending them a text that simply says, “praying,” without having to explain why you're praying in the first place❤️
You know how you have something in your head to say, but the moment you setup the camera or you meet the person/people you want to speak to, your mind draws a blank?
That feeling I hate it😂🥹😭
