My son is in hospital after I lost contact 6 weeks ago, hes now receiving treatment for a dislocated shoulder and multiple injuries from beatings from officers. I only found out because he remembered my number, the prison didn't even tell me he was critically ill and injured

Detaining people in prison lays open the possibility of them being tortured or abused by their captors. In most countries in the world, even in the richest democracies, there are insufficient controls in place to prevent this. There must be accountability.

My son’s given permission for his first name to be known I think this may help in understanding that he is a person who is suffering…his name is William. William is waiting for surgery overdue and delayed due to HMP incompetence ..the current NHS hospital @NHSEngland are v slow

William has done remarkably well to write this letter, he struggled with bits of it but i’m proud he is able to communicate better now. pleas keep praying for my son

I asked William to write in his own words what impact being disabled and in pain for so many months has meant to him. it’s been over a year! Please help share this story…prisoners should have rights to not come out disabled due to officer brutality…serving time should be enough

@HMP_Woodhill I have found out that you let officers open the cell up and all the other inmates helped themselves (steal) my sons property ..He has no clothes I am going to be posting a go fund me this is a disgrace we have spent so much money as a family kitting him out 😢

my sons paperwork was lost in @HMP_HighDown and @HMP_Woodhill The guards taunted him saying there was no proof he needed an operation this led to his mental health breakdown and further delay in his operation William gets very triggered and mentally unwell when neglected.

meanwhile my son still has no property passed on from @HMP_Woodhill …WHY??

can’t wait to see my son! we are going to do power of attorney so i’m never put in this position again because he did want to see me, it’s just he was so unwell in @HMP_Woodhill that the governor almost took delight in telling me she was respecting my sons wishes…l
