ಎತ್ತಿನಹೊಳೆಯಂತಹ ಅವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹಣ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವ ಸರಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳಿವಿನಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ಹಣ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವಾಗ ನಾಚಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಆದರೆ ಆಗುವ ಲಾಭಗಳು,
•ತುಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತುಳು ಕಲಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
•ತುಳುವರ ಆತ್ಮಾಭಿಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪೆಟ್ಟಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೇಳುವುದು ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ.
•ತುಳು ಬಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದಲ್ಲೂ ಬಳಸಬಹುದು.
