@michaelsobrien IHSA should be commended for being flexible going foward in an unbelieveably difficult situation. Coronavirus is hard enough. Having a governor that sees no need for transparency or communication is baffling. Did he do his press conference from FL or his horse farm?

@michaelsobrien Exactly. And its my understanding he also was not made aware of the governors full plan before it was presented today. Pritzger has little respect for anyone. The IHSA is in a very difficult position.

@thejd44 @greGLindholm Ive got a feeling finals are as easy as they were last year. As in optional or nonexistent in many cases for most kids. I will be surprised if schools are not closed again at some point.

The children are mostly immune This is about protecting our elderly and high risk population. NYs problem stemmed from schools being open for weeks too long. pritzger likely closes schools again 2020

@robbaxter5 @jenniferlynnab1 @michaelsobrien Leveled off? We have one of the worst per capita death rates in the nation, with the most stringent shutdown. We are leveled off now, but what happens when Schools reopen? new Yorks issues came largely from a delay in school closings.

@jwillock83 @michaelsobrien Which is ridiculous. It is hands down the most dangerous sport for coronavirus spread. 16-20 people play in a game. Between being an inside sport, the constant yelling and talking, sweating, hand checking, physicality. Classified the same as baseball if the dugouts are small.
