@SteveSchmidtSES Getting rid of Schumer is going to take as long, be as difficult, and have the same " two steps back" consequences as they did when trying to get rid of. Joe Biden.
I guess it was smart of the Supreme Court to release its most racist decision since Plessy on the same day it was confirmed that Trump used his signature in the place of a vagina in his pedophile love letter/birthday card.
I'll admit, I can't top that.
Racist willful ignorance includes ignoring empirical, peer-reviewed evidence of the complex historical, economic, and social factors that contributed to changes in family structure. With poverty-induced wealth distribution as the key driver rather than welfare programs.
This statement by @RobertKennedyJr is scientifically inaccurate and dangerously misinterprets research about immune system differences between populations.
Racial prejudice is the only way that I can justify his allowing these unreached words to come out of his mouth.
"We should not be giving Black people the same vaccine schedule that's given to Whites, because their immune system is better than ours." ---RFK Jr.
So what vaccine schedule should I have received?
His answer was dangerous. I will be voting no.

Because @realDonaldTrump is an idiot and surrounded by idiots, let me be clear:
There's no valid constitutional or legal argument to limit birthright citizenship only to slaves. The 14th Amendment's text and subsequent #SCOTUS rulings support a broad application. PERIOD.
.@PeterAlexander, please find out whether veterans and the disabled are also considered 'preferential' under DEI standards and if they will be excluded for special consideration by federal employers.
Your understanding (and demonization) of 'wokeness' is utter bullshit.
By presenting a strawman version of a complex social phenomenon, you reduce mature discussions about systemic racism to an oversimplified 'us vs. them' narrative that willfully ignores real social inequality.
A 🧵on why "wokeness" is being defeated
What is "wokeness"? It is not equal rights, because equal rights are possible without it. It is not a critical approach to history and culture, which reflects on today's politics, because we can have that without it as well.
"Wokeness" is primarily a discourse policy which aims to deconstruct traditional collective identities and replace them with nothingness.
It is an advanced late Marxist concept in which the class war is substituted with an identity war. The dynamic of the class war, where there is an evil class that exploits and the good class which is being exploited, is present in the identity war.
There are evil identities (White, Christian, Male, Heterosexual) who exploit and the good identities (non-White, non-Christian, non-Male, non-Heterosexual) which are being exploited.
Basically, in the Neomarxist "woke" concept, being a White Christian Heterosexual Male is akin to being the owner of big capital in traditional Marxism. You are evil to the core and need to be stripped of your inherent privilege.
While the logic of traditional Marxism is clear, take away the capital from the capitalist, the logic of "wokeness" isn't. How to strip an identity of its privilege, it's an immaterial thing. Thus the concept of quotas was invented, what if we lower the visibility of the evil majority and increase the visibility of the good minority. This began in the sphere of arts and entertainment, after which it spread to employment and education.
The Neomarxist identity war ignored social reality as did traditional Marxism. Traditional Marxism ignored the very politically powerful national identity, a worker was not only a worker, he had other collective identities besides the class one, which stopped him from becoming a revolutionary.
The identity war ignores the fact that a person can be, for example, Female, thus good in their perspective of not being a Male, but also a White and/or Christian, thus also being the carrier of inherent evil of these exploitative groups.
As the data shows, these good, but simultaneously evil, Females, voted predominantly for Trump in the last elections, in practice disproving the "wokeness" concept. Just as the working class not falling in line with communist parties, because of the "lack of class consciousness", had disproven the traditional Marxist concept.
We can have a tolerant set of laws, a tolerant society, a more just foreign policy, without taking away the pride and dignity of national history, culture and technological achievements, which is the heritage of the majority.
If you sideline the majority and put, through various quotas, the minority in the center of the discourse, it's only natural to expect that the majority will rebel and, if the center doesn't support their rebellion by returning the balance, they will gravitate to the populist right (which they are doing everywhere in the European world and its offshoots).
What @megynkelly appears to be trying to say about @conclavethefilm is: she's offended when the bubbles of privilege and power are poked by the needle of reality - as well as amazing acting, writing, directing, and cinematography, in this case.
#Conclave
Just made the huge mistake of watching the much-celebrated “Conclave” & it is the most disgusting anti-Catholic film I have seen in a long time. Shame on Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci & John Lithgow for starring in it & shame on director Edward Berger (among others). “Spoiler:” They make THE POPE INTERSEX! This is the big exciting twist at the end. I wish I had known so I wouldn’t have watched it. There are almost no redeeming characters in the movie - every cardinal is morally bankrupt/repulsive. The only exception of course is the intersex pope (who - surprise! - has female reproductive parts) & the cardinal who keeps her secret - bc of course that kind of Catholic secret-keeping must be lionized. I’m disgusted. What a thing to release to streaming just in time for Christmas. They would never do this to Muslims, but Christians/Catholics are always fair game to mock/belittle/smear.
White Supremacy sustains its wealth and power through the hypocrisy of supporting #MAGA's anti-immigrant sentiments while demanding immigrant labor (through H1B visas), which underscores most major political groups, unions, and corporate practices.
This is real.
If you had asked me which issue would split allies and lead to the formation of new factions, I wouldn’t have been surprised that it was immigration… I just wouldn’t have predicted it would be H1-Bs specifically.
Inflation WAS the main reason most people voted went MAGA and voted for Trump... right?
Or... Was that cover for the OTHER reason the majority of you voted for Trump?
The whole rationale behind trump was “yea he’s a criminal, yea he’s corrupt, yea he’s racist, yea he’s a fascist, yea he incited an insurrection, yea he cozies up to dictators
BUT AT LEAST!! BUT AT LEAST we had cheap groceries. Now he admits that he can’t even do that.
Trump’s pick to lead the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division – conservative San Francisco attorney Harmeet Dhillon – is expected to use the powerful perch to reverse many of the Biden administration’s civil rights initiatives.

White male privilege includes @FrankFigliuzzi1 promoting #LuigiMangione as an ivy league, ideologist "activist killer," while condemned (civil rights) activists and leaders Assata Shakur, Robert F. Williams, and Mumia Abu-Jamal were imprisoned and promoted with much worse titles.
Before the legal process even begins its attempt to deliver justice for UnitedHealth Care CEO murderer #LuigiMangione, let's all just save ourselves from any future faux outrage by simply saying:
White Male Privilege includes THIS:
@RobBroderick3@RussOnPolitics@KFILE Sadly, white privileges have kept many people from either fully understanding or empathizing with the intersectional impacts that a flashy - but flimsy - VoterID law would have on voter equity, the economy, or full electorate outcomes.
A Latino family who voted for Trump speaks out. Not going to lie—this is tough to watch.
SPOILER ALERT: It was about the economy. Trump’s threats of mass deportation didn’t matter to them, as they believe it won’t affect their undocumented relatives, because they aren’t criminals. 🤦🏾
