A massive fire broke out in a flat on the 12th floor of a tower at IVY County Society in Sector 75, Noida, on Friday, triggering panic among residents.

Thick smoke and flames were seen rising from the 28-storey building, prompting people in the residential complex to rush to safety. According to officials, information about the blaze was received at around 7:20 am.

Residents immediately informed the fire department and local police after noticing the blaze. Multiple fire tenders and emergency response teams reached the spot and launched firefighting operations.

Police stated that the entire building was evacuated, and occupants of neighbouring flats were also relocated to a safe area as a precaution.

So far, no casualties or injuries have been reported, officials said.
