I’m not gonna let the local GOP off the hook. They are completely nonexistent. There is no alternative voice for young people who cannot afford this city. Don’t try to reframe any of this is anything else but a complete failure of GOP leadership
This is Angie Báez.
She was earning $350,000 p/a in an executive role at JPMorgan Chase.
She stole a Knicks colored public trash can.
She lost her job and will struggle to be re-hired elsewhere.
She could have had an identical one made for approx. $1,000 - one day's wage.
Not only does this appear to be an inappropriate use of taxpayer funds, but *checks notes* isn’t Darializa for abolishing the police? Or, is that only when others need them and not her?
This is what upsets working New Yorkers: @NYCMayor and his associates strutting around the city in taxpayer-funded monstrosities, while people working multiple jobs and shifts are being squeezed out of their travel options — tortured for using a vehicle in addition to transit.
Traffic on Amsterdam flows north. Yet every single day, e-bikes and cyclists ride against traffic.
@TransAlt keeps advocating for complete lawlessness — then clutches their pearls over the tragic loss of life that their own actions help cause.

There are no grassroots DSA candidates.
None.
They are all very carefully selected by a central committee and funded by the national DSA organization and big money nonprofits.
None of it is real, none of it is local. They’re all frauds.
A homeless man went on a stabbing rampage inside Penn Station, and six New Yorkers paid the price.
Kathy Hochul refused to repeal cashless bail.
We built the safest county in America. When I am Governor, this stops.
We used to have FDNY lanes and traffic signals times for cars, not empty bike lanes. This is how much the anti-car TransAlt lobbyists have severely impacted common sense safety
Translation: @openplans to remove entire street parking (funded by driver fees) on one side of the street, with faux daylighting — a blueprint for large scale implementation city wide.
New Yorkers, please show up and keep protesting these well funded lobbyists.
