If you want to slow down vehicles as drivers approach streets with lots of pedestrians and cyclists, these giant Dutch kerbs are very effective.

They succeed in setting the tone of a street and are a match for even larger vehicles.

We can and should use these more in the UK.

@Coop8640 @Benjibon @AdamBronkhorst Have been touring Italy last 4 week’s & cycling where we stop, both countryside & towns. found very few cycle paths, most that are mapped as routes are just on roads & no markings for cyclists, & Italian drivers are the worst at close passing & passing approaching junctions etc
