I believe the purpose of a vacation isn’t to find yourself and all the other self discovery horsecrap you keep seeing on the internet..
Its sole purpose is, by the end of it, to make you miss your everyday life enough that you are happy to return to it :)
@thekaipullai Ironically Cred (a company built around credit cards) seems to exclude my credit and debit card transactions from its spend analyzer, capturing UPI and bank transfers only.
Amusing to see it being discussed as a financial data goldmine when it can’t even get the basics right..
Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” has reached 60M views in just 9 days.
The song is on track to pass 100M views ahead of the 2026 World Cup commencement.
Had already stopped watching the IPL until Vaibhav happened
The kid is an enigma. Beyond imagination. Beyond forgery or imitation..
If he isn’t winning it, the IPL loses more than Vaibhav does…
The boy is bigger than the game itself…
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Get used to this name. Because for the next 20 years you'll be hearing it very often.
"Vaibhav kitna banaya?"
"Vaibhav khel raha hai?"
...these are the kind of lines you'll hear in almost every Indian household for the next two decades.
The only difference between me and the version of me that existed 5–6 years ago is that back then, I related to the man who asks Wayne, ‘Here, there… what’s the difference?’
Now I relate more to Wayne…
@GabbbarSingh Try Royal Caribbean from the east coast florida whenever you get the chance. It usually takes you across multiple Caribbean islands, so you’re not just stuck at sea the whole time… In a week, it takes you around 4–5 countries get out take a walk, come back and sail again…
The people who won, lost first. they lost hard, they lost stupid, they lost everything, more than once. and one time they didn't lose, and that was it. nobody who made something real had support while making it. nobody. they stood there like idiots. family said no and left, friends laughed, everybody watching, waiting for the fail. and maybe the fail came maybe it took everything, but they didn't die. and they got back up and did it again stupid like before, until the universe got tired of fighting them and surrendered. you cant tell beforehand which is will kill or coronet you. you walk through, or turn back. and if you turn back, you join the other turners, who live forever with no light in their bones
Find your obsession. Choose something worth dying for. Ignore everything else. Become monomaniacal. Sleep when you're dead. Eat when you must. Think about it constantly. Dream about it nightly. Wake up thinking about it. Sacrifice relationships for it. Lose friends over it. Let people call you crazy. Let them call you unbalanced. Good. Balance is for the weak. Mediocrity is for the many. Greatness demands sacrifice. Obsession is the price. Pay it gladly. Ignore the voices telling you to be reasonable. Reasonable men change nothing. Obsessed men change everything. Van Gogh was obsessed. Da Vinci was obsessed. They called them mad. History calls them genius. Find what makes you forget to eat. Pursue it relentlessly. Let it hollow you out. Let it fill you back up. Become the thing you chase. Merge with your mission. Disappear into your work. Emerge transformed. Or don't emerge at all. Better to burn out obsessed than fade away balanced. The world needs your madness. Give it everything
The cost of chasing perfection is that you’ll remain unhappy for the rest of your life. You don’t get to chase more and feel like you already have enough.. You either lie to yourself and feel happy…or you tell yourself the truth and keep going…
For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me because I wasn’t happy.
Then I realized I was never meant to be.
The world will constantly try to convince you to be satisfied. Because a satisfied man is predictable, controllable, and easy to outgrow..

Since inception, humans have had two core drives: survival and reproduction. Everything we have built has been about making those easier. The problem is, if you keep making work easier, you eventually remove the need to work at all.
I think we’re getting close to that point...
