@nick4768@YankeeGunner@timstillman_@gunnerpunner Exactly. In many years now we've not committed to a top forward. We've gone cheapo, rivals' cast-offs, past their bests. The only one who looked at his peak/on the up was Gyok but even then he'd only been successful in a mid European league for a couple of years.
@YankeeGunner Yes! I feel the attack has been an afterthought made up of cheap/VFM signings like Martinelli & Trossard and rivals' cast-offs like Madueke, Havertz & Jesus. Nelli obvs just a punt but none of these others were 'on the up' when we signed them. Compare with our rivals...
@FmCatenaccio@YankeeGunner@timstillman_@gunnerpunner Why Madueke? Why Havertz? Neither were ripping it up at Chelsea. Why so many signings from that one club? It's almost suspicious.
"But they know the Premier League". I'd love to see stats on this cos I'm not sure that's any more guarantee of success.
@Dave7432189@DanSamme You don't have to break the fast at the exact moment of sunset. If it is even a 'moment'. Nothing bad is going to happen if they don't. What if they're busy at work or on the toilet or fallen asleep, etc etc? Also it's v easy to just get an energy bar to them without a time-out.
@fisherkook @xcherry1989x I wasn't slating them but you'd think with the Brits being a very mainstream awards ceremony, they'd have had at least a bit of success in the UK. Aside from minimal UK sales, in the last 2.5 years they've only twice played live in the UK, at a 150 capacity venue in London.
@BernardBacon66@GBPolitcs@Daily_Express It's unnecessary, Bernard, and only serves to increase anti-Islamic feeling. Muslim players can eat/drink at half time or full time, or even just take on a quick drink or energy bar during the game, like players occasionally do anyway. Why make a big fuss about it?
@EshaAA33 If a male hits a female, she can hit him back.
If a female hits a man, he can hit her back.
Ideally, though, how about we don't hit each other? Just an idea.
