Incorrect incarceration myths:
1. Profitable (as shown above, it's not)
2. Drug charges caused it (this claims that prisons are effective if drug war wasn't racist, but prison oppression pre-exists drug war by 2 decades, drug charges were *created* to restock prisons)
@jhal9000 i would also tie it to commute pay so that mfs could get overtime for driving lmao, might convince many more especially if this "gas crunch" is now chronic
a potential wrenching prospect within US labor laws would be to get salaried workers to struggle against their overtime exemptions and eliminate their pre-proletarian characteristics
In my experience, if you talk theory to the right person—to the curious person, or to the person who really needs a win and needs answers and wants to work for them—they love it.
The (liberal) problem is thinking "Convince anyone and everyone" is the success condition.
so i mean, everywhere, *ban it*. make workers feel like they are selling their time and not their effort (or they switch to selling effort via piece rates)
afaik it's only de jure in the US but in a place like the UK, salaried workers typically sign contracts to become salary exempt which is basically shoving it onto individuals, maybe higher talents can force negotiations but i'd bet many businesses are advantaged in this
I have been appealing for some time to build a simple bathroom for my family, but donations have been very limited. I only need $388 to reach my goal. Please help by donating or sharing my post. 🙏💔

they admit there's a genocide they just want to join the winning (for now) side of it
let them flee, we will tear them apart, black or white, root and branch
Anybody who says it’s too late for Black folk to organize and you just need to “build an economic life-raft for you and your family,” is full of shit.
1. I’ll bet 50 million dollars they weren’t trying to organize anyway.
2. If it really is too late, what the hell good is an individual life-raft?
If there’s room for an individual raft, there’s room for us to combine rafts and expand them into something powerful and durable.
