Meet the Co-Chairs of the Problem Solvers Caucus!
@RepBrianFitz and @RepTomSuozzi are breaking the partisan gridlock in Washington. Together, they’re focused on finding common ground and delivering meaningful results for the American people.
The Problem Solvers are here to get things done — that only happens when we work together.
“We’re not looking for a perfect map. We’re looking for a process that people can trust.”
Redistricting should be about public trust, not partisan advantage.
That means stable rules, transparency, and fair standards that apply regardless of which party is in power. Our institutions work best when the public has confidence in the process.

“Let’s get back to treating people with respect, to trying to find common ground, to move forward, to create a more perfect union.”

“We’re not looking for a perfect map. We’re looking for a process people can trust.”
@RepJeffHurd and @RepDebDingell joined @NPR to discuss the Problem Solvers Caucus’ new bipartisan working group focused on addressing partisan gerrymandering and strengthening confidence in our democratic process.
🚨Episode 2 of The Pod Couple is live!
This week, @RepBrianFitz and @RepTomSuozzi are joined by former Trump Administration Treasury official Mike Faulkender and former Obama Administration economic adviser Aaron Klein for a bipartisan conversation on affordability, the economy, and solutions to help lower costs for American families.

.@RepBrianFitz and @RepTomSuozzi recently joined @NPR Morning Edition to discuss why competitive districts and bipartisan governing are critical to restoring trust in our democracy.
“The American people are sick and tired of this division.” Listen to the full conversation:
Today, the Problem Solvers Caucus announced the formation of a bipartisan working group focused on addressing extreme partisan gerrymandering across the country.
The creation of this working group comes at a time when Americans across the political spectrum are increasingly frustrated with a system in which politicians choose their voters instead of voters choosing their representatives.
We believe bipartisan reforms are needed to restore competitiveness, fairness, and accountability to the democratic process.
This Memorial Day, we thank the brave men and women who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
As America approaches 250 years, we remember that our nation’s strength has always been built on the courage and sacrifice of those who defended it. 🇺🇸
I joined @jonkarl on @ThisWeekABC with @RepTomSuozzi to discuss our bipartisan bill to stop DOJ’s “Anti-Weaponization Fund” before taxpayer dollars go out the door.
It’s simple: we will use every tool at our disposal to block this fund and make sure not one dime of taxpayer money is turned into a discretionary payout.
Our bosses are not in Washington. They are the people we represent in our districts—and we will answer to them, fight for them, and make sure their voices are heard.
We are proud to see three bills from our bipartisan Affordability Agenda included in the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which just passed the House.
These measures focus on increasing housing supply, lowering costs, and removing barriers that make it harder for Americans to find affordable housing.
Addressing the affordability crisis requires bipartisan solutions, and we encourage the Senate to build on this momentum.
More than half the states in America have closed primaries — meaning millions of registered independents are shut out of elections.
At a time when 45% of Americans identify as independents, the largest political bloc in the country, excluding them from the democratic process is unacceptable.
Lowering costs. Restoring trust. Governing across party lines.
Those themes drove this week’s conversation between Center Forward & the Cho-Chairs of the bipartisan @ProbSolveCaucus featuring @RepBrianFitz & @RepTomSuozzi.
Thanks to @LACaldwellDC of @PuckNews for moderating!
When politics becomes more about protecting safe seats than serving the country, the American people lose.
This morning, I joined @margbrennan on @FaceTheNation with my @ProbSolveCaucus Co-Chair, @RepTomSuozzi, to talk about a better way forward: focusing like a laser on the cost of living, confronting a broken redistricting system that rewards division, and standing with Ukraine as it fights for freedom.
Too much of Washington is designed to divide us. Our duty is bigger than the politics of the moment: to serve 100% of the people we represent, bring both parties to the table, and prove that common ground is still where real progress always begins.

America works best when leaders put solutions over politics.
The Dignity Act is proof that we can secure the border, enforce the law, and still come together to fix a broken system the right way.
Federal interest payments are projected to reach $1.0 trillion in 2026 — more than doubling from $476 billion in 2022. That makes interest one of the fastest-growing parts of the federal budget — crowding out investments that could help lower costs for American families.
The Problem Solvers Caucus remains committed to establishing a bipartisan fiscal commission to put our fiscal future on a more sustainable path.

The endorsement from the @ProbSolveCaucus marks a major breakthrough for the Dignity Act and for serious bipartisan immigration reform.
Proud to work alongside @RepScholten as we continue moving this conversation, this issue, and this country forward.
The Problem Solvers Caucus officially endorsed the bipartisan Dignity Act to secure our border, modernize our immigration system, and provide a practical path forward for our country.
At a time when immigration is too often treated as a political weapon, this endorsement reflects a growing bipartisan push to actually solve the problem.
Real progress happens when leaders come together to solve big problems.
Grateful for the endorsement from the @ProbSolveCaucus for the Dignity Act as we continue moving immigration reform forward. Today, we are proving serious, bipartisan solutions are still possible.
The Problem Solvers Caucus is proud to announce its endorsement of the Dignity Act, bipartisan legislation to permanently secure the border and fix our broken immigration system.
The bill would bolster border security, modernize the asylum system, and create legal pathways for certain law-abiding undocumented immigrants — all while protecting American workers and reducing the national debt by up to $50 billion.
Thank you @RepMariaSalazar and @RepScholten for championing this commonsense legislation!
As a High School student in New York in the days and months following September 11th, I remember first hearing the story of a man who had continuously climbed back into the towers to rescue survivors and was only identifiable by the red bandana he was wearing.
As it turned out, that man was Welles Crowther, a 24-year-old volunteer firefighter from Rockland County and recent @BC_Mens_Lax graduate who worked in the World Trade Center's South Tower.
In the 25th year since September 11th and America’s 250th anniversary, Welles represents the very best of New York and is the perfect example of true volunteerism, someone who laid down his life for his neighbors, embodying the highest ideals of service.
Thank you to @ProbSolveCaucus for their endorsement of this legislation to ensure his legacy continues to inspire future generations.
