Had a lot of time to myself arriving a day early to Marfa.

After that incredible drive through the dessert and too much coffee - I sat down with my new most favorite drawing implement, some watercolors, a pen and graphite and knocked out a collection of 101 drawings that I think are pretty fun.

I went ...I just could not drum up the courage to walk into the crowd - my brain doesn’t know what to do with all the words coming from all the places.

I introduced myself to a person I met an hour earlier …it’s like I’m buffering.

I stood on the other side of the street for like 10 minutes -suddenly, this local woman walking her dog strode up to me and asked me to explain what this type of art this is and if ai is making it.

We had the most delightful conversation for 30 minutes as her dog (I think his name was Jared) stood between my legs.

I gifter her a drawing .

Then I went back to the motel.

Perfect night night in Marfa.
