As for population, Australia has about 27 million compared to Canada's ~41 million, but Australia spends more on their military.

@maxfawcett Canadian crude trades at a discount and if tariffs are placed on it, the feds won't need to do anything to restrict trade as retaliation, the Americans will either buy less of it or the discount will become greater to compensate for tariffs.

@JordanD74823364 @MikesUsername77 @marissenmark PISA isn't done annually. 2022 is the most recent assessment. Typically, they do it every 3 years, but maybe with Covid they delayed 2021 to 2022. I assume the next assessment will be in 2025 & released in 2026.
2022 was released in December of 2023.

@MikesUsername77 @marissenmark I see you are using 2019 data from the Ulster Institute, which ranks Canada 16th. The 2022 OECD PISA rankings has Canada 8th, and the 2017 ICI ranking also has Canada 8th. The top ICI countries are mostly multicultural.
