#DEVELOPING Cosumnes River College is under lockdown as @ChooseCRC has sent out alerts to students to shelter in place over an unconfirmed threat to campus. No further details from law enforcement or school officials yet. Check back for updates....

Los Rios District sent an emergency email at 11:02 a.m. to students and staff at Cosumnes River College to “Shelter in Place immediately. Lock doors and windows immediately and await further information. If not on campus, please avoid the area.” @ChooseCRC

Earlier today, an individual made a threat of violence against the campus at CRC. LRPD cannot yet verify the validity of the threat, so we have locked down the campus as a precaution and alerted students, faculty and staff. We will provide an update as soon as one is available.
