Gen Z is entering financial markets earlier than previous generations did, and it is changing what "getting started" with money actually looks like.
A big reason for this is access. In the past, learning about finance or reaching global markets meant paperwork, or knowing the right people. Today, a lot of that starts with just an app and some curiosity.
What is genuinely different about this generation is the approach. Younger investors are showing more interest in actually learning first, rather than jumping in purely because everyone else is. Financial education content, communities, and simple explainers have made it easier to understand concepts before making decisions, not after.
Digital platforms play a big role here too. They've made global markets accessible in a way that older generations didn't really have, no need for a broker's office or complicated paperwork, just an app and the willingness to learn. I experienced this myself when I joined Binance back in 2021. I didn't understand much in the beginning, but the access itself made it possible to keep learning and eventually get comfortable, which is really the point being made here, access changes how early people can start.
This shift shows up in real numbers too. Gen Z already makes up a meaningful share of users across Binance's TradFi products, which reflects just how early this generation is choosing to engage with financial markets compared to before.
None of this changes the basics every investor still needs to understand, risk exists, markets move in both directions, and learning takes time regardless of how young someone starts. What's changed is simply how early that learning process can now begin, and how many resources exist to support it, including free ones like Binance Academy for anyone who wants to actually understand the fundamentals before diving in.
How do you think Gen Z will change the future of investing?

I’m watching @DuskFoundation closely because Dusk is building around privacy without ignoring usability. Its architecture aims to make confidential transactions practical for real applications, while $DUSK supports the network’s ecosystem.
