Public schools need to #innovate to help communities thrive. This should always start by examining their #purpose. In our new book, my co-author @jsiddiqi7 and I invite all community members to that conversation. https://t.co/Ap5qok8Vj1

Glimmers are the opposite of triggers.
They’re moments when your nervous system is grounded, you feel fully at peace, and comfortable inside your body.
Examples:
1. Feeling the sun on your skin
2. Laying with your pet
3. Hugging your partner
4. Being in awe of nature
5. Being with a group of people that inspire you
6. Creating something beautiful
7. Having your favorite song on repeat
8. Dancing without feeling self conscious
Glimmers send the signal to our nervous system that we’re safe. They are moments we feel at one with collective consciousness.
Glimmers are hope.
