I just made my first mistake in this $ETH rally.

I had promised myself that when it hit $4,800 I would sell another 20% of my $ETH. But the momentum was so strong that I thought, let’s wait for $5,000.

Guess what? It dropped to $4,400.

Emotions won again.

This was the same mistake I made last year. Before I knew it, ETH was back down at $1,300.

The takeaway from this post: don’t be greedy.

The game can change overnight. Take profits along the way.

This isn’t “internet magic money” - that’s a lie.

This is real money you can use to invest in real estate, stocks, or real life opportunities that can change not only your life, but the lives of those around you.

Rationality > Emotions.

When it’s time to sell, sell.

There’s a saying: “Better a bird in the hand than two flying.”

Note: I’m still bullish on $ETH and I believe it will go above $5,000.

The takeaway here is: if you said you were going to take profits, then take them!

I never buy something just because a KOL is promoting it. Many times, I see KOLs endorsing terrible projects, and I can’t help but wonder why they would even invest in them. (Prob free bags)

I only invest when I truly believe in something. I need to feel convinced. Every holding I have is bought with my own money. I’ve had offers, but the projects were garbage, and I’d never take free money at the cost of ruining my X profile.

Of course, I’ve made some bad calls too. everyone falls for a rug pull now and then. But I always aim to find the real GEMS and share them with my followers.

Quality is everything.

A few different outcomes:

1. Hold for the highest valuations and get lucky
2. Hold for the highest valuations and get rekt
3. Hold for modest valuations and make money

If you play for max gains then you need to be holding the giga cycle winners. Asset selection has been a theme all cycle, and won't change anytime soon.

Number two will almost certainly be the outcome for many because that is always the outcome for many. Majority will keep voting to stay after every round despite seeing the casualties piling up around them.

It's not the fun most bullish thing to say on the timeline that yes things will go up in 2025, but good chance that even strong alts don't hit the valuations that comparative vapour hit last cycle.

Why? More sophisticated participants, more market maturity, better understood valuations and alt dispersion are some reasons among a few.

You can have total crypto market cap hit 7T and people will still be saying "but, no one made any money?".

Outcome three keeps your net worth moving up and to the right. There's always another trade/investment.

Ignore absolutely everyone. Stick to your own plan.
