In 2021 Elon Musk promised to send a literal Dogecoin to the literal Moon.
It's actually happening. H2 2026. NASA confirmed. Satellite physically at Cape Canaveral.

I spent a week verifying every single claim. Most people holding this have no idea what I found.
Here's the full breakdown.
WHAT IS DOGE-1?
DOGE-1 is a real 12U CubeSat satellite built by UK aerospace company Exobotics. Paid for entirely in Dogecoin, making GEC the first crypto-paying customer of SpaceX in history. When it launches it will be the first cryptocurrency ever sent to lunar orbit. A historic first that can never be replicated.
FINDING 1: THE HARDWARE PROBLEM THAT CAUSED EVERY DELAY IS SOLVED
Most people don't know this. Every single DOGE-1 delay had one root cause. CEO Samuel Reid confirmed in 2024 the problem was "uncompleted requirements for the radio and the satellite."
In September 2025 that problem was solved.

FINDING 2: GEC PAID A REBOOKING FEE TO SPACEX IN DOGE
After missing the 2024 launch, GEC paid SpaceX a second rebooking fee in Dogecoin to secure a new launch slot. Companies don't pay rebooking fees on missions they're abandoning. This is the single cleanest proof the mission is live and committed.

FINDING 3: DOGE-1 IS ON A CONFIRMED NASA MANIFEST LAUNCHING H2 2026
IM-3 is Intuitive Machines' third lunar lander mission under NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services programme. Confirmed H2 2026 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Kennedy Space Center. DOGE-1 is manifested as a rideshare payload. The lander named Trinity was confirmed delivered to Cape Canaveral in January 2026. This is on NASA's official website.

FINDING 4: INTUITIVE MACHINES HAS MASSIVE FINANCIAL INCENTIVE TO LAUNCH
Intuitive Machines (NASDAQ: LUNR) holds a $4.82 billion NASA contract. IM-3 launching is critical to unlocking that pipeline. They hold $943M in backlog and just received a brand new $180.4M NASA contract on March 24 2026. They cannot afford to delay indefinitely.

Elon is pitching SpaceX to millions of retail investors in the exact same window DOGE-1 launches. He has direct financial incentive to tweet loudly about it.
