@Not_the_Bee The state of New York, where the WNBA is headquartered, has strict and discrimination laws against trans. I believe the law does not require full transition to avail oneself of that protection. So the WNBA may just be inviting a lawsuit here.
Maybe SCOTUS bails ‘em out
@mkhammer Rare among celebrities, I can’t think of a single negative story about her. No scandals, no gossip just a kind hearted and big hearted woman.
@EricLDaugh I suspect the Fever will sign her for another contract. They might make her available for the new team draft. But she's too valuable to give up to virtue signal. The WNBA is going to face lawsuits not matter what, due to their lack of clarity.
@michaeljknowles The pose is similar to a minstrel singer; where the term "Jim Crow" originated in a song. The outfit looks clownish, which describes how Jim Crow Minstrels appeared in public.
Whoever put this photo shoot together was ignorant of that history. I'm sure it was unintentional.
@TheBabylonBee No professional Sports Teams? Are you kidding me? Have you seen The Ohio State University Buckeyes? The best damn team in the land that money can buy!
@JoeKinseyexp 1 tournament a year; one year we added Cincy for an extra $20. The point was the team wasn't promoting "college scholarships"; kids played for the fun of it. Eaton was always a 20-30 drive anywhere, but rarely more than an hour.
It's just a different beast than Oakwood travel.
@GMFWashington Flying is so price sensitive, Delta will pay dearly for doing so. One people compare prices they'll go elsewhere. But it'll leave a bad delta taste in their mouth. Long term, a bad idea.
