@Mangetarkort Is it server-side or client side? It's a single fillet around a rectangle with rounded corners so in theory the extra load should be barely noticeable both on a server and on a client. I'm willing to test the load on mobile and on a 2013 laptop if you implement it.

@volvocars Well now I have a usb data blocker which does the job, but I'm no newbie and there is no user-facing setting to disable android auto. It's possible to disable the app from "all apps" but it works only until a reboot takes place, then the app is enabled again.

@volvocars you really need to find a way to let users disable Android Auto: each time I connect the phone to charge I get asked about connecting Android auto, which I don't want because the AAOS works fine. I was forced to buy a data blocker connector! This is ridiculous. MY2023
