Nobody went after Fidelity Bank.
This is the story of what happened
👇
In 2002, a long-running dispute originated from a loan and property transaction involving the defunct FSB International Bank (later acquired by Fidelity Bank Plc) and G. Cappa Plc, with Sagecom Concepts Ltd, claiming deprivation of possession and rental income on Ibadan properties
The Supreme Court initially affirmed the judgment in April 2025 with a ballooned N225 billion award due to compounded interest.
However, on 12 December 2025 the apex court granted Fidelity's clarification application, revised the interest to simple annual rate and applied the 2018 exchange rate, slashing the liability to approximately N14–30 billion (shared with G. Cappa) and resolving the case in the bank's favor.
Today ,the long-running legacy dispute between Fidelity Bank and Sagecom Concepts Limited has been successfully resolved ✅️
