@prowrstlngstrng This just looks like establishment Dem wishcasting: win every other contested race but still get to paint the DSA as unelectable losers
@NapoleonBonabot Funniest part of 2024 election by far was him modeling a 50.00001% chance of Kamala winning. Knew she was cooked but literally incapable of saying Trump was more likely to win.
@Gravantus “Just be as holy as the saints and maybe you won’t go to hell” has very similar energy to “if you just work hard, spend nothing and grind 16 hrs a day, maybe you can afford a house”
@WomanDefiner There is no ideological conflict, but I definitely believe there is a war happening with the younger members trying to get themselves cushy party jobs by kicking the old guard to the curb. It won't continue to the general election but it'll be vicious until then.
Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
@fentanylbrownie Blaming him is a stretch, but it is funny to mock them for getting many of their suggestions for a good Star Wars franchise implemented with Disney and the resulting movies being even worse.
@MichaelFKane Anything he did to prepare for an invasion was definitely more out of a desire to fight a future challenger to his rule than it was any altruism.
@MichaelFKane IIRC the "Palpatine was just trying to save the galaxy from the Vong" theory came from an in-universe Imperial apologist, so it's a bit biased. Palpy def knew about them but the plan for taking over the galaxy was well underway for decades by that point.
@orthonormalist The idea of them doing the nation-state equivalent of the rom-com trope of a mutual friend lying to both leads so that they'll meet and realize they loved eachother all along is pretty funny though.
@HariSel57511397 Him staying gone would actually be a bold and interesting move. I suspect he will return with the cast having taught him empathy somehow, though.
