@FlygonHG@TeamYouTube They didn't contact us until 10 minutes after they blocked our site and issued YouTube strikes. We promptly removed it within the hour, but it took several hours for Google to notice.
@FlygonHG@TeamYouTube We apologize for this. We were testing an alternative to Google Analytics (https://t.co/vRXS6IE1k6), but the domain we had it on expired and was used by a malicious actor to attempt a phishing attack. Google correctly flagged the threat, but the execution was quite terrible.
Beware! There's a bug in Sword/Shield that can crash your game if you receive a maliciously crafted Pokémon via Surprise Trade. It'll crash your game when you try to access online features (via Y-COM), preventing online interactions until a patch is released.
In the lead-up to HOME, I figure it's appropriate to mention a few things that I've made in the past month, besides PKHeX & pkNX:
- Discord Bot using PKHeX.Core logic and auto legality:

- Switch Console remote control client (bots):

Another clarification -- the crash in question may well not actually be Gamefreak's fault. The underlying error is an OS one (a NAND read is failing).
Pokemon may be triggering it because its access patterns might be bad, but that's not for sure.
The error code the JP streamer saw as a result of the crash, on another note, was 2002-4690.
This is part of fs::ResultFatFileSystemCorrupted(), and in particular "The SD card FAT is in an invalid format".
Pretty conclusive -- the OS is explicitly reporting SD FAT corruption.
Please note: support for Sword/Shield is currently experimental. If you see something that you think is incorrect, please let us know via forums/Github as it's easier to track that way.
If you thought Dexit was bad, wait 'til you hear about what's happening to some moves... "This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered."
We are not sure how difficult it will be to get local wireless events in #Pokemon#SwordShield. Anyone living in Japan or Korea with a hacked switch want to help us gather events?
It is very important for legality and preservation.
