Therapist: And what do we do when we feel sad?

Me: Order supplies for a project we won't possibly start before 2026.

Therapist: No.

Can share lovely boy Angel Harry’s needle felted portrait - a very missed boy @HarrynPogue

[Russell Garwood @RussellGarwood]

For #FossilFriday and #Arachtober here are some ~100 million year old spiders from South Korea. These animals were probably preserved when rivers washed their remains into large lakes/basins associated with the plate tectonic movements of the time.

Never underestimate the power of overdocumentation. :~)

Airport security questioned me about this beautiful specimen today, so I happily told them it was a piece of vesicular basalt with olivine phenocrysts that I’ll use to help me describe the carbonate–silicate weathering cycle and—

This ended up being more delightful than expected.
