The reason is that unless I'm mistaken the rewards for holding Gigadot are likely subject to income tax, whilst the vdot/ dot model is likely capital gains ?

@illu_te Thx, will this be via current swap function or another mechanism, the reason I ask is that the former is currently a 'market', thus what would ensure its 1:1 if the secondary market is still active . One would assume its a simple convert to native dot function and not the swap?
