A patient and three other people have survived an accident after an ambulance belonging to Kasese Woman MP, Florence Kabugho, in which they were travelling caught fire this evening en route from Kagando hospital to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.
The incident happened at Omumkombe village, Ntangaro at the border of Rubirizi and Bushenyi districts.
All the four occupants were rescued by the local residents and taken to Combino hospital in Kyamuhunga, Bushenyi District.
