@Aetharianism@SkyNews Exactly. Pathetic bunch on idiots. They all should be out…they forget they are privalaged to represent their constituents and are there for the betterment of the country not themselves.
@thevikingscot@anaboultertv Presumably it wouldn’t be open to children who parents provided them with music tuition if they went to a state school, or who went to an excellent state school that provided music at a high standard. Same privilege
@OctopusEnergy hi trying to get my octopus mini removed from my app so I can reinstall it as it’s hanging on set up after a new meter installation (old one stopped communicating). Tried support but no answer yet, been a few days
I’m puzzled. Labourites tell us that Angela Rayner was only trying to look after her child which they quite rightly say is understandable.
But when a farmer tries to look after his children, they say he’s a tax dodger.
@pistol1603 @Tt65241391 @anaboultertv Actually parents who send their kids to private school subsidize the state by not utilizing a school place but paying the tax towards it. It’s easy to twist facts by omission to make your own argument look correct
@Dave_Tingle@anaboultertv Pity labour plan to spend the extra money they’ve gained on housing, while simultaneously increasing pupil numbers by the closure of private schools and the lack of affordability for those on the edge. I’d also point out, it’s the parents of those send kids who’s vat bill it is
"Instead of extracting £1.5bn from private schools, Treasury analysis has suggested that the new tax policy could cost the Government an extra £650m per year."

Ooooph. The numbers on education exposed. Thats a massive fail for @bphillipsonMP@RachelReevesMP@Keir_Starmer and the Labour Party as a whole. Ouch. Turns out they really did lie.

@jim_crawfurd@trentconsultant The issue with this is the pay is never good enough to incentivize (already overworked staff) to do more. That is my experience as an nhs doctor of 22 years. Neither party has ever got this right
@JackieTainsh@ajlees@trentconsultant@DrJoFranklin The reality is that the in house agency provided poor pay for doctors and nurses. It’s easy to blame each political party but the reality is they all use the nhs is a kicking post for their agendas. Short term thinking, lack of strategy and honesty with the public.
@Anaes_Journal@ThomasGodetMD Pay attention to the operation and what you are doing and it can easily be when you slide patient onto bed. Esp with pEEG these days. Absolutely no need to be doing it in pacu
So in October, @bphillipsonMP and the labour party were using a report from the National Audit Office to demonstrate how broken SEND services were in our state schools.
@bphillipsonMP and @UKLabour were posting the findings of this report far and wide in order to demonstrate why they needed to improve these services and how it was a priority to do so.
Today, the government and speaker of the house (who is supposed to be impartial let's not forget) spent taxpayers money on KC's to argue that this very same report they were shouting from the rooftops about, should not have been admissible as evidence in court during the school fee VAT legal cases. Namely because it supports the argument that the state cannot cope with the influx of thousands more children requiring SEND provision.
Apparently, after months of relying on this report and its figures for their own purposes and justification, the speaker, government and Bridget Phillipson have now decided they don't agree with the figures in it.
The rank hypocrisy from @bphillipsonMP is astounding.
I also think any pretence that the speaker @LindsayHoyle_MP is impartial has also now evaporated, if it hadn't already.
🚨 Starmer’s government have recommended a doctor pay cut 🚨
.@wesstreeting and @RachelReevesMP need to know that this is NOT a generation that accepts Doctor pay cuts.
We gave the UK that for 14 years. The time of more for less is over.
@hmtreasury It’s not a VAT break it’s an enforcement of VAT on parents to pay 20% more. The money that you will need in residual services such as CAHMs, litigation, SEND provision, and capital projects will outweigh the ability to invest. With a 40k deficit in teaching staff and growing.
@hmtreasury This advert is an abuse of impartiality of the civil service! I’ve never seen anything on this scale under any previous administration of any colour !
@Councillorsuzie@RachelReevesMP We all suffer... An education secretary @bphillipsonMP that thinks it's a good idea to tax educating children, including those with special educational needs. It's a low benchmark indeed. 👇https://t.co/AuIb5rN8tI
So obvious that @RachelReevesMP is totally incapable of being Chancellor, the problem #Labour have is that none of the front bench are capable and we will all suffer!
