Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement
My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement.
I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down.
To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down.
I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this.
Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly.
With humility and hope for forgiveness,
Your brother in this struggle,
Morris Monye.
Oya come let’s hug. 😊
Manchester United fans, jsyk, we now have the longest wait for an EPL trophy amongst the Big 5, jokes on you if you think this board would deliver us that trophy with Carrick as our coach and Mainoo in the heart of the midfield. A proper summer backing else we are now BANTER FC
Utter nonsense! Quote me anywhere!
You lost me where you said “if she dies, she won’t be a part of God’s kingdom” Oshey o heaven’s ticket officer🙄
Same God that talked about leaving the 99 to save just 1 soul, dear handler, stop the manipulation! BTW, big ups to the church🙌🏼
A lady on TikTok posted a video on her page today, the first video.
It shows her being awarded the Best Graduating Student at LOGIC Foundation Class by Pastor Flourish Peters.
But the problem becomes apparent when you see the lifestyle of the girl.
In the second video, she boasts about sexual activities.
She talks about how she can engage in sexual acts for a sustained period of time.
She boasts about engaging in oral sex licentiously.
She boasts about how she relishes ingesting semen orally.
She says she is “mischievous,” boastfully.
But that is not all.
She talks about other more depraved illicit acts she cherishingly engages in.
For example, she describes someone she has designated an “Eater.”
According to her, this person performs oral sex on her, and she in turn records the sounds she makes and shares these recordings with her “inner circle.”
That is practically pornography.
And that is apart from other licentious lifestyle practices like narrative pornography, nudity, etc.
This person was awarded the Best Graduating Student of LOGIC Church’s foundational Bible program.
Now, why are we making this post?
God bears us witness, it is not primarily because of the girl, but because of the pastor.
Right now, if this girl unfortunately dies, she will not be part of the kingdom of heaven.
Why? The Bible denounces this sort of lifestyle.
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality;
that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.” — 1 Thess. 4:3–5
Then it says God’s judgment comes upon those who live in such sin:
“The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.”- 1 Thess. 2:16.
If this lady dies today, her soul will wake up in God's eternal judgement in hell.
Why would God judge those who engage in sexual immorality?
It is because our bodies, as believers, are now the temple of God, and God will destroy anyone who destroys His temple:
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” — 1 Cor. 3:16–17
Let God deal with Spiricoco, be it ever so severely, if we are not writing this with quaking fingers and tears lining our very eyes.
This girl’s soul is wasting away in sin. Her soul is gone deep in the death of sin, at the moment.
And her pastor has not been able to tell her that the works of the flesh are manifest:
“Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality…”— Gala. 5:19
And that those who engage in them will be judged by God:
“I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
— Gala. 5:21
Flourish Peters has not told her that:
“God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.’”
— 2 Tim. 2:19
Pastor Flourish has not told her that she must abandon the evil ways in which her mind was once controlled by lust against God before she was saved:
“They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart...
and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.” — Eph. 4:18
Instead, what does Flourish Peters do?
He gave her an award, and told her only to stop sharing “those spicy content.”
So, he knows about these vulgar corrupt communications from her.
But his problem was not that she was doing sexually immoral things, but that she was sharing them.
That was Flourish Peters’ concern.
This is a major church in the heart of Lagos where many attend.
Right now, the lady’s soul is in corruption and sin, and Flourish Peters, who was meant to deliver the washing word of truth, has not.
If Flourish Peters really preached to her, she should have repented, turned back from these sinful life to the living God.
Like the Ephesians burnt their spellbooks when Paul preached to them, this girl should have done the same if Peters really shared the gospel of life with her.
But he obviously didn't share the whole counsel of God with her.
Finally, we share this to show you the danger of hypergrace doctrine.
In LOGIC Church, they preach that we don’t need to ask for forgiveness anymore.
They preach the “once saved, forever saved” doctrine. This is the fruit of that doctrine.
A grace that has been turned into licentiousness. There is no one who lives like that who will make heaven.
Hypergrace is damnation, and LOGIC Church preaches it.
This is the fruit.
The time to talk about Flourish Peters is not here yet.
He is not alone.
The man from whom all these doctrines originate was the subject of discussion on Christian Twitter all of last week.
But we have said this to warn you: to know the wolves in your midst.
To beware of false preachers, the apostles of Satan.
To be diligent with the Word, and fervent in prayers that you may guard against temptation.
To keep your garments clean, and to live circumspectly in this world.
When the time to fight comes, God will put Satan under our feet.
Peace be with you. Amen.
Ruben Amorim wanted Antoine Semenyo at Manchester United so badly that he personally went to dinner with him to convince him about the project.
The player agreed.
But the board refused to pay £70m.
Then they switched to Bryan Mbeumo thinking £50m would be enough… only to end up paying over £70m anyway after negotiations dragged on 😭
Now imagine 6 months later:
Semenyo joins Manchester City…
and 5 months after that scores the winning goal against Chelsea F.C. in the FA Cup final.
Another Amorim target.
Another missed opportunity.
Another example of incompetence from the board.
One thing about history; it’s that it just finds a way of repeating itself.
When Mourinho was sacked, every fan painted Mourinho as the devil and Paul Pogba as the angel.
Everyone was saying why would Mourinho bench Pogba and not start him, and finally Pogba has being unleashed and free. Only to turn on Pogba down the line.
Today, where is Pogba? Karma played on him, for what he and his family did with his agent to influence Mourinho sacking.
Fast forward to present; Samething applies to Reuben Amorim and Kobbie Mainoo.
Reuben was the devil and Mainoo is the angel.
Everyone believes Mainoo has been unleashed despite the stunts he and his family pulled to add to the influence of sacking Amorim.
Guess what? Karma doesn’t forget and one constant fact about Manchester United fans, they’ll turn on you.
They did it to Greenwood, Ronaldo, Rashford, Lingard etc. Kobbie Mainoo ain’t no different.
Call me hater, bookmark it, call me Amorimsexual, but It’s a matter of time karma takes its cause and I’ll be there to say I told you so.
@JenisysPlay@Cantonadevils You don’t need to lie just to make your point man, Mourinho never used 3 DMs in that match, I dare you to name them, oops I forgot Ashley Young is also a DM🙄😂
I never thought I could love a coach the way I love Cristiano Ronaldo as a player.
Then Ruben Amorim happened 😭
Maybe it was the honesty.
Maybe it was the standards.
Maybe it was finally seeing a coach with a clear football identity and the courage to challenge things at Manchester United.
But whatever it was…
some of us connected with it immediately.
So for those jealous about it…
stay jealous 😆
Some of us will never stop backing Amorim.
He wasn’t bad because he beat city at Etihad
He wasn’t bad because he knocked Arsenal out of the FA cup at the Emirates Stadium
He wasn’t bad because he beat Liverpool at Anfield which no manager had done in a decade
He wasn’t bad because he went unbeaten in the Europa league until the final
He wasn’t bad because he set up the dressing room
He wasn’t bad because he prioritized improving all the players
He was bad because he lost to spurs in a final
He was bad because he finished 15th
He was bad because he lost to Grimsby
He was bad because he had the lowest win percentage
But what did he do?
He accepted and took responsibility, promising he would do better.
And he had already started doing better and needed more backing from the club, needed more backing in terms of recruitments but the same board that wanted him to succeed declined and he called them out that led to his sacking.
I just wish Ruben Amorim won’t be our last good manager post Sir Alex.
