By their fruit we shall know them. Truth is reality irrespective the tribe or religion, Nigerians know those who truly love them and has their interest at heart.
Sometimes we need to remove emotions, tribal sentiment and social media propaganda and tell ourselves the bitter truth.
If Peter Obi was from Ebonyi, Imo, Enugu or Abia, would he receive this same overwhelming support from Ndi-Igbo?
The honest answer is NO.
Many people may not like this conversation, but it needs to be said.
The support Peter Obi gets from a large section of Ndi-Anambra is not completely because he is the best or the most qualified Igbo politician. A huge part of it is because he is from Anambra State. Let’s stop pretending otherwise.
For years, many people have acted like the leadership of Ndigbo must revolve around Anambra interests, and anybody outside that circle is automatically seen as inferior, irrelevant or not “fit” enough.
Now let’s ask the real question nobody wants to answer:
What exactly has Peter Obi personally done for Igbo land politically at the federal level before becoming a presidential candidate?
He worked under Abacha’s regime — what major Igbo project did he attract then?
What visible federal infrastructure across the South East can people confidently point to and say: “Peter Obi made this happen”?
Now compare that with Dave Umahi.
Love him or hate him, the man left visible projects behind.
From 2015 to 2023, he transformed Ebonyi from one of the most neglected and mocked states in Nigeria into one of the fastest developing states in the country. Today Ebonyi is no longer the forgotten state people used to laugh at.
As Minister of Works today, several major roads affecting Igbo land are receiving attention:
• Enugu–Onitsha Expressway
• Enugu–Makurdi–Abuja Road
• Calabar–Ebonyi–Abuja Coastal Route
• Multiple federal road interventions across the South East
These are physical projects people can see with their eyes, not just social media motivation and emotional speeches.
Yet, this same man is insulted daily by some Ndi-Anambra simply because he is from Ebonyi.
Ironically, outside Igbo land, Umahi is receiving more respect and recognition than he gets from his own people.
Yes, no politician is perfect. Umahi has shortcomings too. But Ndigbo must learn to separate hatred, envy and state superiority complex from reality.
This is not about hating Peter Obi.
This is about asking ourselves a difficult question:
Are we supporting competence and results… or are we simply supporting our own state people?
Because sometimes, the loudest supporters of “New Nigeria” are still deeply trapped in old tribal politics.

A legislature that cannot say no is not a legislature at all. A legislature which simply receives executive proposals, approves them without scrutiny, and goes home has not fulfilled its constitutional mandate.

Dear Nigerians,
Leave everything & watch the 1993 presidential debate between Abiola & Alhaji Bashir Tofa.
MKO was fiercely against the IMF & the World Bank. He was against Naira Devaluation & IMF loans. He kicked against wasteful spending.
He stood for FREE education, not student loan.
In fact, Chief MKO won the 1993 presidential election after defeating Tofa in that debate. Nigerians saw his exceptionalism that day & voted overwhelmingly for Kashimawo. It was a Muslim-Muslim ticket that offered REAL hope.
Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola was firmly against the International Monetary Fund (IMF) & the World Bank. He viewed these Bretton Woods institutions & their structural adjustment programs (SAP) as exploitative & designed to ensnare developing nations into debt traps & neo-colonial reliance.
In fact, he criticized the Structural Adjustment Program (SAP), a program of the IMF harshly. MKO was a Capitalist with Socialist ideals.
Key aspects of his economic vision were:
Farewell to Poverty: His manifesto proposed an economic framework that rejected the World Bank & IMF loans & structural adjustments.
Alternative Funding: Instead of devaluing the currency or taking conditional loans, Chief MKO planned to fund a nationwide free health & free education by cutting government waste & securing more profits from oil companies.
National Sovereignty: MKO was against neo-colonialism. As an international businessman, he argued that Nigeria had no business letting young IMF officials dictate its internal policies.
Today, JUNE 12 People are implementing SAP 2.0. They are running away from debates. They have gone against everything MKO stood for.
His HOPE '93 "Farewell to Poverty" was largely a ‘people-centric’ manifesto, anchored on democracy, social justice, agric revolution, poverty eradication, & anti-imperialism.
He promised to write off 10 years of taxes for private businesses that went into farming. He was ready to mechanize the whole value chain.
1993 was the fairest & freest election in Nigeria. The irony is, it was the military that conducted that election, before it was ultimately annulled.
Today, June 12 People cannot conduct a free election. The beneficiaries of JUNE 12 declare Oro on Election Day, & snatch ballot boxes.
They mutilate result sheets, compromise the IREV, & tell you to go to court. They plant their surrogates in opposition parties & call it a Master Strategy. June 12 People are no democrats, they are worse than Abacha.
They work against everything that MKO stood for. Under JUNE 12 People, Nigerians have no human rights. They use the police & the DSS to kidnap the critics of their government. They borrowed Nigeria to stupor. They plan to more, & they will squander it. And when the IMF or World Bank says “jump!” They ask, “how high?”
Recall that Muhammadu Buhari participated in the 2011 presidential debate, where he debated Nuhu Ribadu & Ibrahim Shekarau. However, he did not attend the 2007, 2015, & 2019 debates.
JUNE 12 People have never participated in any presidential debates. They will run away from the 2027 debates. They hate accountability.
MKO always quoted statistics like the man they attack in Nigeria today. The candidate they call “Obi China.” MKO articulated his thoughts. He was no bulaba. He stood for the poor. JUNE 12 People are there for themselves & the rich only.
They are asking you to renew their mandate—so they could do the things they promised you before. They will remain a fraud in my book.

the Senate has formally condemned and distanced itself from Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s description of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) as "a bunch of criminals and thieves". [1, 2]

So, of all the Igbos that has made impacts in Nigeria, Tinubu nominated Joe Igbokwe for a national honour.
He also nominated Sam Omatseye, who described Obi as a de+ad man through an article he titled obident or obituary before the 2023 election.
Omatseye, separatist and extremist in writing, a media practitioner who cannot hide his preference for Tinubu, and a subtle anti-Ndi Igbo?
Our National honour has become a souvenir under Tinubu.
SWEET NEWS FROM ABIA STATE.
Two persons were kidnapped in Umuawa-Alaocha community in Umuahia-North local government area by Fulani bandits. A male and a female. The kidnappers called the family of the female victim, and demanded for ransom, or else they will kill her. After much negotiation, they brought the ransom to 10 million naira last. Youths from the community felt challenged since the police or the military was not going to act, and their people are just suffering in the hands of kidnappers. They mobilized themselves in their hundreds to comb the forests around umuahia-north to rescue their people
They entered the forest from different directions in groups and in large numbers. Lo and behold, they spotted the kidnappers, rounded the 6 of them up, and rescued the two victims.
They have reunited the victims with their families and also handed over the 6 kidnappers to the police.

This is the only way we can have a change in Nigeria, because some of these elderly women that collect money for vote are not even aware what they are doing is not right, it’s your duty as a youth to educate them. Please pass this video to someone else until it goes viral
Ngwa people rejected Alex Otti in 2015 and chose Okezie Ikpeazu just because they believed that Ikpeazu was son of the soil while Alex Otti has Arochukwu Ancestry.
The son of the soil delt with them for 8 good years. It's now the same person they rejected that's helping rebuild their place now.
But I like what Alex Otti did. He used the opportunity to trace back and return back to his Arochukwu Ancestry. The love Otti is receiving from Ngwa people is fake, but they don't have any options for now.
Tribalism of any kind is evil.
We must say no to sectionalism or Tribalism!
As the World Cup Begins Without Nigeria
As the World Cup begins today across three nations, I identify with our teeming football followers and urge them not to be despondent that Nigeria is not participating, despite the abundant talent in our land.
Our failure to participate on the global stage is not due to a deficit of talent; it is a direct consequence of a deficit in leadership, planning, and institutional support.
The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. Do not watch the World Cup with despair; rather, see it as a reminder of where Nigeria ought to be. We must move our country from being a nation of mere consumers of global entertainment to a nation of proud producers and competitors.

Despite Three Years of Tinubu's Food Emergency, Nigeria hungriest ranking index declined to among the worst nations globally.
In celebrating his supposed successful three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu listed some achievements in the agricultural sector, firstly, his declaration of emergency on food security in July 2023, followed by the acquisition of 2,000 tractors and 9,000 farming implements, stated as Nigeria's largest agricultural mechanisation programme.
Yet the outcome of this has been the opposite. Nigeria's hunger index has worsened significantly. Nigeria's hunger index ranking was 103rd out of 123 countries surveyed in 2022/2023, and this figure had since worsened to 115th out of 123 countries surveyed in 2025/2026. Consequently, Nigeria is now classified among the world's most hungry or food-insecure nations in the world, with the World Bank forecasting that 33 million Nigerians could experience severe hunger.
In fact, Nigeria has the highest number of hungry people in the world.
I have always maintained that Nigeria have no reason to be seen among the hungriest nations in the world when we have fast, uncultivated land in the north, which is our greatest asset today.
We must transparently invest in Agricultural production, which will guarantee food security, but create huge employment.

Sometimes, whenever I look at Orji Uzor Kalu chairing any corruption investigation committee as a Senator, it makes me remember how Nigeria happened to the justice system in his case.
How can we actually explain to the whole world that someone who was supposed to be in prison over corruption charges is now chairing committees that investigate corruption?
Let me tell you the story in brief.
Sometime ago, after Orji Uzor Kalu left office as Governor of Abia State, EFCC discovered a 7.5 billion naira infraction involving funds that allegedly went missing from the treasury of Abia State during his administration.
So EFCC invited Orji Uzor Kalu to explain how the money was spent.
He did not go alone because he was invited alongside his former Director of Finance, Udeh Udeogu, and his personal company, Slok Nigeria Limited, where EFCC believed part of the money had been diverted to.
When Orji Uzor Kalu could not satisfactorily explain how the funds were spent, EFCC arraigned him, Udeh Udeogu, and Slok Nigeria Limited before Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court on a 39-count charge bordering on corruption.
EFCC gathered its evidence and diligently prosecuted the matter.
But before Justice Mohammed Idris could conclude the trial and deliver judgment, something happened.
He was suddenly elevated from the Federal High Court to the Court of Appeal.
Ordinarily, he should have handed the matter over to another judge to start afresh.
However, because the case had gone very far and because there was a provision in the Administration of Criminal Justice Act which allowed a judge who started a criminal matter before being elevated to the Court of Appeal to return and conclude the case, provided he obtained written approval from the President of the Court of Appeal.
That provision is Section 396(7) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015. It was inserted by the National Assembly to prevent waste, duplication, and unnecessary delays in criminal trials.
Justice Idris explained the situation to both EFCC and Orji Uzor Kalu's legal team. They all agreed that he should obtain written permission from Justice Bulkachuwa, who was then the President of the Court of Appeal, so he could conclude the matter before fully assuming his new duties as a Justice of the Court of Appeal.
Justice Idris obtained the approval, completed the trial, found Orji Uzor Kalu and Udeh Udeogu guilty, and sentenced them to 12 years and 10 years imprisonment respectively.
Orji Uzor Kalu and Udeh Udeogu appealed all the way to the Supreme Court.
Interestingly, their appeal was not that they were innocent or that the evidence presented against them was fabricated. It was not even that the judge wrongly convicted them.
They told the Supreme Court that their conviction should be set aside because the man who convicted them had already become a Justice of the Court of Appeal before delivering the judgment.
Sadly, the Supreme Court agreed with them.
The Supreme court held that since Justice Mohammed Idris had already been elevated to the Court of Appeal, he had no business returning to the Federal High Court to conclude the case. According to the court, he should have allowed another judge to take over the matter.
Consequently, the Supreme Court set aside the conviction and ordered that the case return to the Federal High Court for a fresh trial.
But before that could happen, another interesting thing happened.
While EFCC was preparing its evidence for the retrial, Orji Uzor Kalu ran to the Federal High Court in Abuja seeking an order to stop EFCC from prosecuting him again.
His argument was that the Supreme Court's order for retrial specifically mentioned Udeh Udeogu but did not expressly mention his own name. Therefore, according to him, continuing his trial would not be in the interest of justice.
Surprisingly, the Federal High Court agreed with him and halted the retrial.
VDM stood right in front of the army and police blocking the Ministry of Defence and told them the truth they didn’t want to hear.
He said:
“After 35 years of service, there will be nothing to show for it. You have a gvn that you cannot use to protect your own family but you are using it to protect this terrible government. They travel by flight but you travel by road because you cannot afford it.”
He wasn’t talking to the enemy. He was speaking directly to the soldiers and officers themselves.
That’s what makes this different. He didn’t just confront the system... he reminded the men holding the gvns that they too are victims of the same system they are protecting.
The real problem is not the men in uniform. It’s the system that puts gvns in their hands and turns them against their own people.
To the men in uniform, there is still time to wake up. Because one day the uniform will be gone, the salary will stop, and you will return to your villages to face the same poverty, the same bandits, and the same insecurity you were used to shield others from.
That day, you will remember this moment and ask why you didn’t do the right thing while you had the chance.
Peter Obi you are shielded by God and the People are with you💌

Notice its branded in Abia state Coat of Arm and color, Not the Governor’s Face ooo
If it was to be some other governors(let me not mention names) they will use their face to paint the whole state over any small project they manage to deliver to the people
