Seeing @annaridler Bloemenveiling (2019) enter the Whitney collection feels surreal.
Not because an institution acquired early AI art.
Because this time the museum seems to have seen it before the collectors did.
Pope Leo’s encyclical opens with the Tower of Babel as a warning about AI and the noise of concentrated power.
The moment I read it I ran straight to Cildo Meireles’ Babel (2001) at the Tate, hundreds of radios stacked to the ceiling, each one broadcasting into the same room
We are more than proud to announce, that the @whitneymuseum officially acquired »Bloemenveilling Archive Box #51« by @annaridler & @pfau!
Many thanks to @ChristianePaul2 and the committee for including this early NFT art in the prestigious collection🌷

My babies are getting so smart, it's freaking me out.
I was looking forward to using GA or bayesian optimisation to find a sweet set of parameters, but hand-tuning is giving scarily good results. I cant stop watching!
