From my convo with @kaiynne from @infinex on Proof of Story about where AI trading is going.
HFT firms have been running machine learning agents on CoLo servers for decades, running millions of models in parallel, and scaling globally to wherever they can find markets.
When every retail trader has similar agents trading for them, going to unlock unprecedented activity.

Always wondered what was behind all the excitement in Korea around crypto.
Was cool to get into the weeds on this on my recent conversation with @JdotHamilton from @HoloHive_ on Proof of Story on how Korean culture shapes crypto adoption.
Kinda similar to Brazil, people are naturally open to new opportunities, and when combined with a unified culture, it kinda spreads faster than other places.
Good reason to keep the focus there. Stay tuned for another IRL visit to Seoul.

A recent conversation with @mdomcahill makes one thing clear: the future is increasingly 24/7, and the data layer has to keep up.
98% of the volume on HIP-3 is powered by @PythNetwork, that’s 16 BILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS in the past week.
The data speaks for itself.

Markets are moving toward 24/7 trading on purpose-built, optimized venues.
That’s exactly why @fogo exists and why @TheHUB is building the infrastructure layer behind.
Trading firms entering new markets often face the problem of rebuilding the exact same infrastructure over and over again.
@TheHUB's thesis is simple. Unify that environment and eliminate repeated capex.
@thiagorudiger breaks down how.

Airdrops are usually framed as speculation.
But sometimes they do something much more tangible.
@WomanDefi shares how crypto rewards helped fund something far more real: water supply.
A reminder that token distribution can create impact far beyond the screen.

One of the biggest inefficiencies in market structure is infrastructure fragmentation.
Trading firms can be physically in the same data center, operating similar systems, yet still be forced to spend millions each time they enter a new market simply because the infrastructure isn’t unified.
The result is repeated capital expenditure, duplicated systems, and unnecessary barriers to expansion.
@thiagorudiger explains why this problem still exists and why @TheHUB is aiming to solve it.

Toxic flow isn’t just a trading problem.
It’s one of the core forces that determines whether a market structure actually holds at scale.
That’s exactly why @fogo and @TheHUB matter.
I spent the weekend talking to validators, traders, and other people about the priority fee situation on Hyperliquid.
What it really exposed is that toxic flow and how you manage it are some of the biggest factors in whether a perp tech works at scale.
That’s why I think Fogo, Ambient perps, and TheHUB matter. The goal is to build a better environment before launch, not patch over issues after the fact.

Traditional finance spent decades optimizing matching engines.
The next generation of markets will be defined by systems that can match TradFi on execution while using blockchain architecture to improve the full trading experience.
Watch the clip below.
TradFi matching engines have reached a pinnacle. They’ve evolved over decades through trial and error servicing the sharpest low-latency traders in the world. There’s just not much more we’re going to iterate on there.
But the total experience is lacking given archaic pre-trade intermediaries for margin and credit, and slow post-trade “T+ Eternity” settlement.
A DEX that can equal on execution experience but excel on the pre and post trade benefits of blockchains and tokens, will finally be able to compete.
That’s the gap we’re closing.
Why does crypto resonate so deeply in Korea?
@JdotHamilton from @HoloHive_ breaks it down:
It's within the culture. Openness to opportunity, amplified social proof, and a uniquely strong FOMO dynamic where financial trends spread fast through communities.
That created one of the most mature retail liquidity cultures in crypto.

History has shown that no single DEX can come close to competing with TradFi CEX’s on its own.
@theHUB changes that by aligning chains, DEXs, oracles, and services in optimized CoLo’s, sharing multi-cast market data, and performantly bridging liquidity.
That performant onchain trading activity now has the chance to become price discovery and the most coveted ecosystem in finance that others will coalesce around.
Stronger together.
For years, crypto optimized around everything except the one metric every real business is built on:
Revenue
TVL, market cap, token price, user counts; all proxies, often without durability.
That’s starting to change.
And @mdomcahill from @PythNetwork knows it.

Binance is the most successful trading venue by a mile – and it has also expanded into payments and other real-world use cases to make the offering super compelling for many.
I have a lot of respect for what they, and many of the crypto CEX’s have built – but it bothers me that the onchain activity is still a fraction of the total activity.
Let's explore why that matters and how I think we finally flip the script this year.

HODLing has meant riding ATH all the way down, while swing traders win.
HODL is dead for most; trade smarter around what you believe. And the market being dominated by retail AI agents (CoLo’d) that take into account mean reversion and overbought and oversold conditions, are not far off.
