One can never get enough photos of the 199 Steps and Donkey Path at Whitby and, as it's #fingerpostfriday, it's maybe time we showed off a fine, overlooked, example...

Some people, for some reason, don't like to hear about it or admit it - but there are now many airports in the EU, across many member states, that have reintroduced eGate usage for UK travellers.
Airports in Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, France...

@babybeginner Can you add that opposition to the GenderBorg isn't "right wing/nazi bigots". It's normal people, many of whom are left-ish and have been involved in progressive politics for decades. It suits the Cult's agenda that we're all painted as frothing, hate filled Right Wingers
I love and admire this woman so much. Just imagine where we would be today if @jk_rowling had decided not to stand with ordinary women against the anti-women, anti-science, anti-reality gender identity movement sweeping across the globe?
If JK Rowling had done what almost every other celebrity was doing at the time - and what all 'progressive' high profile, influential and wealthy people were doing - which was absolutely nothing or worse, where would we be today?
People say that JK Rowling's wealth and status made it easy for her, but this isn't true, if it were there would be an army of independently wealthy and influential women standing with her. She put her trust in ordinary women and we put our trust in her, and together we have created the most impressive women's rights movement that we've seen in decades.
What marked JK Rowling out was her bravery and her courage, which no amount of wealth can buy.
The UK has led the world in fighting back against the dangerous excesses of gender identity ideology, and its attempt to erase sex-based reality, safeguards and protections, in no small part because of JKR and the other courageous women of Scotland.
They organised and lobbied and built impressive grassroots organisations that are respected nationally and internationally. They are not only holding the line, they are pushing it back.
Women were not overpowered and silenced, they were not gagged or shamed - and the parallels with sexual violence against women and girls are absolutely appropriate - in no small part because the women of Scotland stood and fought, and continue to fight, and they and we are winning.
Support them. Stand with them.

Is anything ever to be done to improve usage of the Cyclepaths @olivercoppard and to limit the disruption whilst they are being laid?
A Cycle shop close because of them - oh the irony...

The private school policy brings out the worst in Labour supporters. The undisguised glee at being able to make life harder not for the super rich (school fees are pocket change to them) but for the middle class. The ones who have typically done better than them through hard work and talent, rather than being born into privilege. It’s a real mask off moment.
Enough bloody politeness.
Enough idiot pronoun use.
Enough mutilation and sterilization and consequent suicide of children at the hands of the psychopathic butchers enabled by the increasingly mad alphabet mob.
Enough false self-aggrandizing compassion.
It's high time to stop the lies.
Even animals with no nervous system can tell the difference between male and female.
Enough.

Look at the no of immigrant care workers & their dependents in 2023.
Idea: Boost the salaries for such jobs to encourage indigenous uptake.
Think different give the public what it votes for

IMMIGRATION
I believe in hard borders and a strong approach to immigration. Anyone wanting to come here must do so lawfully. Anyone who doesn’t should be deported.
Labour doesn’t. This is what the last Labour leader said the other day:
“Contrary to what you hear across much of our media, the British public are becoming more and more favourable toward immigration.” - Jeremy Corbyn 10th May 2024.
His views are shared by many Labour MPs. I know this to be true because I have been in Parliament with them for the last 4 years. Labour has voted against every single law we have brought in to tackle illegal immigration. So have the others in the Labour Party.
If you want more immigration then vote Labour. If you agree with me then support me in my fight to save our country.

Immigration is consistently high on the public's priority list.
Illegal immigration figures are minor in comparison to legal immigration which has sky rocketed in recent years.

Yet your govt says it wants to control?
Not credible
SUELLA BRAVERMAN
Really pleased to welcome my friend and colleague Suella to Doncaster to speak to us all yesterday evening.
She and I share a strong desire to ensure that all immigration is controlled, that the UK is in charge of its borders and that we must not tolerate economic migrants abusing the asylum system.
I hope to see @SuellaBraverman MP back again in Doncaster but this will probably be after the General Election whenever that may be. In the meantime I will continue to work with her on #Immigration and the many other areas we both care deeply about.
