@propfundsquad@MyForexFunds Nostalgia doesn't pass evals. Traders pick firms on clear rules, a drawdown that doesn't punish you for a green trade pulling back, and a real payout record. If the plans don't win on those, the old logo won't save it.
@BlueGuardiancom On paper, sure. The real cost is what blowing eval after eval trains you to do: size up, chase, reset, repeat. The fee is cheap. The habit is expensive.
@TheH0n3stTrader Finding the edge is the easy part. "Stick to it" is where accounts go to die. Three red days and everybody's testing a brand new strategy on a funded account. It took a mentor holding me to the plan before it clicked for me.
@t0mbfx People see 38% and think it's a typo. It only works because the losers stay small and the winners get room. Most guys blowing evals run it backwards: grab tiny wins, then give one loser "room" and it eats the whole week. Risk math like this is day-one stuff in 0 to Hero.
The money in your funded account isn't yours yet.
It's yours when it hits your bank.
People this week are saying they'll keep trading a firm until a payout gets denied. That's backwards.
Read the payout rules before your first trade, not after your first request.
Take the payout the day you qualify. Don't let profit pile up in someone else's account.
Get paid. Then keep going.
Do you take the payout the day you qualify, or let it build?

Alphabet is down about 10% premarket after missing on earnings and revenue. Microsoft is up about 3% after a beat.
The AI selloff hit Asia too. Korea's Kospi slipped.

Fed held. 3.75β4%, 10-2. Cook and Hammack wanted +25bps.
"Inflation remains elevated." Waiting on more info. Warsh won't give forward guidance.
NQ ~29,860 into 2pm. Hit 30,009 into the presser, faded to the 298s. Don't chase the first FOMC candle.
0 to Hero below.
@CHARTISKING Stubborn on the goal, flexible on the path. The one thing that shouldn't flex is your daily loss limit. Change setups all you want. Don't change the rule that keeps the account alive.
@GeoffreyNwankpa Green on an eval feels easy. Funded is where that energy gets people. Same size, same rules. The account doesn't care that yesterday was easy.
Most people quit right before the rules start sticking. If the model hasn't worked yet, change the process, not the goal. Blowing accounts then walking away usually means the process was never written down. Keeping people on a written process is what 0 to Hero is built around, and members get lifetime HedgeMap live and our indicators.
@lanto_trades Clean day. The trap after a +2R is sizing up tomorrow because you feel hot. That's how green weeks turn into blown accounts. Same risk tomorrow as today.
@ProTrader_Mike Panic size is how prop accounts die. Plan first, size fixed, stop already set. If the only reason you're clicking is fear, you're not trading anymore.
@TheH0n3stTrader True. It'll show you if you can follow rules when you're red, not just when you're green. Most blown accounts aren't a strategy problem. They're a you-after-a-loss problem.
Agree on not quitting. What shortens the clock is somebody who's already made the mistakes calling them out before you burn another six months repeating them. That's what my mentor did for me. 0 to Hero is built around that, and members get lifetime HedgeMap live and our indicators.
@TradersConf The presentation to the friend is the part most people skip. They want the capital before they have the sample. Props are a good proving ground for that. Just keep treating the real money with the same rules that got the payouts.
@Topstep Protecting it is the job once you're funded. Passing feels like the finish line. Staying funded is just not giving the account back. Same size, same rules, smaller goals.
@CableAnalyst That second trade is the one that kills funded accounts. First loss was business. The revenge one is ego. My rule after a red trade: size stays the same or I walk. Never bigger. That's where most blown accounts start.
