Trading futures with @GFFutures has been interesting so far.

Started out with blowing upon blowing until finally getting into the rhythm of consistency.

🧵 A thread on how I went from inconsistent trader to algo trader - and why I'll never go back to manual trading.

I've been trading inversions & breaker blocks for 2 years. Profitable, got payouts - but never consistently, month after month. Emotions killed me every time.

So at the start of 2025, I started coding my first ever indicator with the help of AI.

The goal was simple: make it analyze charts exactly the way I did manually - and alert me when my setup comes.

By March 2025, I had a fully functional IFVG indicator - liquidity sweeps, HTF FVGs, and a ton of features built around it.

I used it privately for months. Told nobody.

Then I started seeing people drop IFVG indicators left and right, selling them for big money.

None of them were even close to mine.

So I posted it on X. It went viral. People immediately recognized it was the real deal.

I gave it free for 3 months to everyone.

Shortly after, I built the first actually functional Breaker Block indicator on TradingView - one that detects breakers correctly.

To this day, nothing else comes close.

With alerts running, I finally hit real consistency for the first time.

Then I discovered TradingView strategies. The fact that trading can be fully automated.

That's when everything changed.

I spent months building the IFVG & Breaker Block Toolkit -tools that let anyone backtest these concepts and automate them completely.

Now that they're done? I'm never trading manually again.

Here's the thing nobody tells you:

Being away from the charts is what made my trading 100x better.

The algos run. The payouts come. I focus on other things.

Because even if you're a good manual trader - emotions will catch up to you eventually. You'll blow an account. You'll rage trade. It's inevitable.

The algo has no emotions. It doesn't revenge trade. It doesn't hesitate.

In the long run, it outperforms humans every time.

My advice: Find what works. Automate it. Stay away from the charts.

Today was a perfect example of why you can't just trade IB blindly. 📉📈

On NQ, the Initial Balance (IB) opened below the midpoint and formed the high first. Standard data would tell us to target the IB Low. 🎯

BUT... there was a clear IB SMT divergence with ES and YM. Both were extremely bullish, making that NQ short setup low probability. The real play today? ES and YM. 🐂

Look at ES (right chart): we got a picture-perfect rejection off VWAP and POC for a beautiful IB setup. 🤌
