एक माँ की अधूरी अंतिम इच्छा — मेरी श्रद्धांजलि, मेरी क्षमा-याचना 🙏 आज मेरे मन पर एक ऐसा बोझ है, जिसे शायद मैं जीवनभर अपने साथ लेकर चलूँगा। चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु की माताजी पिछले लगभग एक वर्ष से लगातार मेरे संपर्क में थीं। वे मुझे फोन करतीं, संदेश भेजतीं और एक माँ की उम्मीद से बार-बार पूछतीं— “मेरे बेटे को छुड़ाने के लिए कुछ हो रहा है न? कोई रास्ता निकलेगा न?” मैं उन्हें आश्वासन देता था कि मैं प्रयास कर रहा हूँ। भारत में अनेक प्रभावशाली और उच्च पदों पर बैठे लोगों तक बात पहुँचाने की कोशिश की। जहाँ संभव था, दरवाज़े खटखटाए। लेकिन बांग्लादेश के अड़ियल रवैये के कारण कोई रास्ता नहीं निकल पा रहा था। फिर मेरे अपने जीवन में एक घटना घटी। बांग्लादेश के पीड़ित हिन्दुओं और चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु के पक्ष में लगातार आवाज़ उठाने के कारण ISKCON ने मुझे बाहर कर दिया। जब यह समाचार माताजी तक पहुँचा, तो उन्हें इतना गहरा सदमा लगा कि उन्हें दिल का दौरा पड़ गया। यह बात मुझे बाद में पता चली। एक दिन अस्पताल के बिस्तर से उन्होंने मुझे वीडियो कॉल किया। बेहद कमजोर अवस्था में उन्होंने बताया कि मेरे साथ जो हुआ, उसकी खबर सुनकर वे इतनी दुखी हुईं कि उन्हें हार्ट अटैक आ गया। मैं उन्हें स्क्रीन पर देखता रह गया। मेरे पास कहने के लिए शब्द नहीं थे। मैं सोच रहा था—हे कृष्ण! इस माँ के हिस्से में और कितना दुःख लिखा है? जिसका इकलौता बेटा जेल में बंद है, जो हर दिन अपने बेटे की मुक्ति की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है—उसी माँ को मेरे कारण एक और मानसिक आघात सहना पड़ा। उस दिन के बाद से मेरे भीतर एक अपराधबोध बैठ गया। फिर कुछ सप्ताह बाद खबर मिली कि माताजी को कैंसर है। उनकी स्थिति तेजी से बिगड़ रही थी। और फिर उनका वह संदेश आया जिसे मैं शायद जीवनभर नहीं भूल पाऊँगा। उनकी कोई बड़ी माँग नहीं थी। न कोई राजनीति। न कोई न्याय की लंबी बहस। न कोई शिकायत। एक मरती हुई माँ की बस एक अंतिम इच्छा थी— “मरने से पहले एक बार अपने बेटे को देख लूँ।” बस इतना ही। मैंने भारतीय उच्चायोग में फोन किया। श्री दिनेश त्रिवेदी जी से बात कराने का अनुरोध किया। मुझे लगा शायद अंतिम समय में कहीं से कोई मानवीय हस्तक्षेप हो जाए। लेकिन मुझे वापस कोई फोन नहीं आया। मैंने सुझाव दिया कि बांग्लादेश की अदालत में तत्काल याचिका लगाई जाए। चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु को रिहा नहीं करना है तो मत कीजिए—सिर्फ कुछ घंटों की पैरोल दे दीजिए। एक बीमार माँ को अपने संन्यासी बेटे को अंतिम बार देखने दीजिए। लेकिन वह भी नहीं हुआ। अदालत ने अनुमति नहीं दी। और अगले ही दिन माताजी चली गईं। उनकी अंतिम इच्छा अधूरी रह गई। एक माँ अपने इकलौते बेटे का चेहरा अंतिम बार देखे बिना इस संसार से विदा हो गई। आज मैं उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए शब्द खोज रहा हूँ, लेकिन बार-बार लगता है कि मेरे शब्द बहुत छोटे हैं और मेरा पश्चाताप बहुत बड़ा। माताजी, मुझे क्षमा कर दीजिए। 🙏 आपने मुझ पर विश्वास किया। आपने बार-बार मुझे फोन किया। आपने मुझसे उम्मीद लगाई। मेरे साथ हुए अन्याय की खबर ने आपको इतना दुःख दिया कि अस्पताल के बिस्तर से भी आपने मेरी चिंता की। लेकिन जब आपकी अंतिम इच्छा पूरी कराने का समय आया, मैं आपके किसी काम नहीं आ सका। यही बात मुझे भीतर से खाए जा रही है। मैं बार-बार अपने आप से पूछता हूँ— क्या मैं कुछ और कर सकता था? क्या कोई और दरवाज़ा था जिसे मुझे खटखटाना चाहिए था? क्या कोई और व्यक्ति था जिसके सामने मुझे हाथ जोड़ने चाहिए थे? क्या कोई ऐसा प्रयास था जो मुझसे छूट गया? अब इन प्रश्नों के उत्तर शायद मुझे कभी नहीं मिलेंगे। लेकिन एक बात मैं जानता हूँ— यह पछतावा मेरे जीवन के साथ रहेगा। माताजी, यदि मेरे किसी प्रयास में कमी रह गई हो, यदि मैं आपकी उस अंतिम इच्छा को पूरा कराने के लिए उतना नहीं कर पाया जितना मुझे करना चाहिए था, तो आपका यह नालायक बेटा आपसे हाथ जोड़कर क्षमा माँगता है। आप चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु की माँ थीं, लेकिन पिछले एक वर्ष में आपने मुझे भी जिस स्नेह और विश्वास से फोन किया, वह ऋण मैं कभी चुका नहीं पाऊँगा। आज आपके चरणों में केवल अपनी श्रद्धांजलि नहीं, अपनी क्षमा-याचना भी रखता हूँ। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण आपको अपने श्रीचरणों में स्थान दें। 🙏 और चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु को इस असहनीय दुःख को सहने की शक्ति दें। कुछ घाव समय के साथ भर जाते हैं। कुछ नहीं भरते। यह मेरे जीवन का शायद ऐसा ही एक घाव रहेगा— एक माँ की अंतिम पुकार… अपने बेटे को एक बार देखने की अंतिम इच्छा… और उसे पूरा न करा पाने का मेरा जीवनभर का पश्चाताप। माताजी, मुझे क्षमा कर दीजिए। 🙏 ॐ शान्तिः। आपका राधारमण दास

“मेरे बेटे को छुड़ाने के लिए कुछ हो रहा है न? कोई रास्ता निकलेगा न?”

मैं उन्हें आश्वासन देता था कि मैं प्रयास कर रहा हूँ। भारत में अनेक प्रभावशाली और उच्च पदों पर बैठे लोगों तक बात पहुँचाने की कोशिश की। जहाँ संभव था, दरवाज़े खटखटाए। लेकिन बांग्लादेश के अड़ियल रवैये के कारण कोई रास्ता नहीं निकल पा रहा था।

फिर मेरे अपने जीवन में एक घटना घटी।

बांग्लादेश के पीड़ित हिन्दुओं और चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु के पक्ष में लगातार आवाज़ उठाने के कारण ISKCON ने मुझे बाहर कर दिया।

जब यह समाचार माताजी तक पहुँचा, तो उन्हें इतना गहरा सदमा लगा कि उन्हें दिल का दौरा पड़ गया।

यह बात मुझे बाद में पता चली।

एक दिन अस्पताल के बिस्तर से उन्होंने मुझे वीडियो कॉल किया। बेहद कमजोर अवस्था में उन्होंने बताया कि मेरे साथ जो हुआ, उसकी खबर सुनकर वे इतनी दुखी हुईं कि उन्हें हार्ट अटैक आ गया।

मैं उन्हें स्क्रीन पर देखता रह गया।

मेरे पास कहने के लिए शब्द नहीं थे।

मैं सोच रहा था—हे कृष्ण! इस माँ के हिस्से में और कितना दुःख लिखा है?

जिसका इकलौता बेटा जेल में बंद है, जो हर दिन अपने बेटे की मुक्ति की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है—उसी माँ को मेरे कारण एक और मानसिक आघात सहना पड़ा।

उस दिन के बाद से मेरे भीतर एक अपराधबोध बैठ गया।

फिर कुछ सप्ताह बाद खबर मिली कि माताजी को कैंसर है। उनकी स्थिति तेजी से बिगड़ रही थी।

आपने मुझ पर विश्वास किया।

आपने मुझसे उम्मीद लगाई।
मेरे साथ हुए अन्याय की खबर ने आपको इतना दुःख दिया कि अस्पताल के बिस्तर से भी आपने मेरी चिंता की।

लेकिन जब आपकी अंतिम इच्छा पूरी कराने का समय आया, मैं आपके किसी काम नहीं आ सका।

यही बात मुझे भीतर से खाए जा रही है।

मैं बार-बार अपने आप से पूछता हूँ—

क्या मैं कुछ और कर सकता था?
क्या कोई और दरवाज़ा था जिसे मुझे खटखटाना चाहिए था?
क्या कोई और व्यक्ति था जिसके सामने मुझे हाथ जोड़ने चाहिए थे?
क्या कोई ऐसा प्रयास था जो मुझसे छूट गया?

अब इन प्रश्नों के उत्तर शायद मुझे कभी नहीं मिलेंगे।

लेकिन एक बात मैं जानता हूँ—

यह पछतावा मेरे जीवन के साथ रहेगा।

माताजी, यदि मेरे किसी प्रयास में कमी रह गई हो, यदि मैं आपकी उस अंतिम इच्छा को पूरा कराने के लिए उतना नहीं कर पाया जितना मुझे करना चाहिए था, तो आपका यह नालायक बेटा आपसे हाथ जोड़कर क्षमा माँगता है।

आप चिन्मय कृष्ण प्रभु की माँ थीं, लेकिन पिछले एक वर्ष में आपने मुझे भी जिस स्नेह और विश्वास से फोन किया, वह ऋण मैं कभी चुका नहीं पाऊँगा।

आज आपके चरणों में केवल अपनी श्रद्धांजलि नहीं, अपनी क्षमा-याचना भी रखता हूँ।

August 17, 1909: Veer Savarkar waited outside Pentonville Prison in England to collect the body of a 25-year-old man, who had not been handed over by the British government after his hanging. This body belonged to the great revolutionary, Madan Lal Dhingra, the son of a wealthy and prosperous family, sent to England to study by his father, a civil surgeon employed by the British government. But the flame of revolution was such that Madan Lal, along with Veer Savarkar, decided to teach a lesson to Curzon Wyllie, a British army officer who had returned to England in 1901 after committing atrocities in India. On July 1, 1909, Madan Lal Dhingra shot Curzon Wyllie at a meeting held at the Imperial Institute in England. The British government arrested him and hanged him on August 17, 1909. Madan Lal was so courageous and fearless that when he was tried in court, he clearly stated, "The British government has no right to prosecute me... I don't respect the laws of the British government that is killing millions of innocent patriots in India and bringing 100 million pounds from India to England every year. Therefore, I will not even give my explanation in this court. Do whatever you want..." And when he was being taken away after being sentenced to death, he thanked the judge and said, "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to sacrifice my life for my motherland." And you know what, there is Curzon Road in most of the cities having cantonment established by the British and the name exists till date. Meet the cockroach who was sold to India as the voice of its students. Cockroaches thrive in darkness. Saurav Das is not some politically innocent youngster who spontaneously emerged from an examination protest. 🫵 Friends with Umar Khalid, he has repeatedly championed both Khalid and Sharjeel Imam, and even questioned the courage and integrity of the judges hearing their cases. 🫵 He describes himself as an “independent journalist,” has received grants from organisations including the US-based Pulitzer Center and others. 🫵Photographs and claims concerning the extraordinarily expensive South Delhi home from which this cockroach operates are also circulating publicly. And India has every right to ask: Who funds Saurav Das? Which foreign organisations are lending support to him?
