UPDATE: Relatives of city lawyer and former Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, led by his wife Nnaalongo Zawedde Lukwago, his son Fahad Lukwago, and friends, are still stranded outside Kira Division Police Headquarters, awaiting the next developments.

Meanwhile, former Deputy Mayor @DoreenNyanjura earlier confirmed that police are currently recording a statement from Lukwago, in the presence of his lawyer and former Busiro East MP Medard Lubega Ssegona.
