This week Year 7 took part in a fantastic poetry competition organised by our English department. Students performed their poems to a really high-standard and we will be entering 13 students into the national @poetrybyheart competition. Well done to all everyone involved!

Students at The Gryphon read regularly as part of the English curriculum - 7En/B have read over 6000 minutes in the last few months alone! This term we are setting all Year 7 students a challenge of reading a total of 50000 minutes before the end of the year.
