Today, we commemorate the 57th Anniversary of Bank Nationalisation , a landmark moment that strengthened financial inclusion, expanded access to banking, and contributed significantly to India's socio-economic development.
#BankNationalisationDay
Respect is never a one-way street. If someone chooses to show disrespect, they cannot expect respect in return. No one is obligated to be holier than the priest.
As is the evil so is the remedy. Respect earns respect, and contempt invites consequences.
#StopAssaultOnBankers
The Government should take note: the demand for a 5-Day Banking Week is so dear to bankers that even at 13,859 ft, they carry that message and proudly unfurl its flag.
#5DaysBanking@FinMinIndia
Thanks to Madam Hon'ble FM for your advice to bankers which Officers' Association was repeatedly pursuing in last 2/3 years.Though very late but still your advice will instill some introspection within them. what Officers' Association thinks today others think tomorrow .
Freedom & Right to live with dignity was not gifted to us ,it was earned with blood , tears, and endless sacrifices.
Nothing can be achieved without fight .Dear banker fight for your right #5DaysWeekForBankers
Fearlessly.
Issue of implementation of the agreed demand of #Approve5DayBankingNow pending for more than a decade.Meanwhile 5 strike calls deferred on the basis of assurances given & MOU signed on 07.12.23.
Bankers' patience shouldn't be tested to the point where it breaks.
@DFS_India
When the global discussion is about 4 day work week, it is concerning that 5 Day work week is still not implemented in Indian Banks but we are moving towards Viksit Bharat & Digital India. How the bankers can accept
this dilemma anymore? #Implement5DayBanking@FinMinIndia
When the world is moving to a 4-day week, and banking is already 24x7 in the digital era, bankers asking for a 5-day week isn’t a luxury. It’s justice.
IBA has agreed. The understanding is signed.
Now the Government must honour its commitment – no more excuses, no more delays.
Respect the Settlement. Deliver it.
We demand #5DayBankingNow
@FinMinIndia@DFS_India@nsitharamanoffc@RBI
In the era of Digital India when smart banking should be the mark of VIKSIT BHARAT we are still following back dated idea of 6 days Banking. Long pending demand of #5DayBankingNow
should be implemented immediately unconditional.
To have a Self Reliant country we need to have a Self reliant control on capital.Only Public sector Banks can give this control to take the country towards VIKSIT BHARAT. On the contrary reliance on Private/ Foreign capital will bring Financial dependence.
AIBOC(WB) requests @MamataOfficial@Chandrimaaitc for kindly considering holiday on #Diwali falling on 21st Oct under N.I Act so as to enable all the citizenry of WB including Bank employees to celebrate the festival like other states. Hope considerate CM will consider it.

As a part of the celebrations leading up to the 120th Foundation day of our beloved @BankofIndia_IN, we undertook a humble initiative of distributing grocery kits to around 100 housekeeping staff members at the Head Office.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our respected Executive Directors — Shri Rajagopal ji, Shri Rajeev Mishra ji, and Shri Subrata Kumar ji,CVO Shri Vishnu Kumar Guptaji along with Chief General Manager Shri Rajesh Ingle ji, Shri Abhijeet Bose ji, Shri S. B. Rai ji, and Shri Nitin Deshpande ji.
Our housekeeping staff are the unsung heroes who, through their tireless efforts, ensure the smooth functioning of our daily operations. This initiative was a small yet heartfelt gesture to acknowledge their dedication and express our gratitude.

Thanks to our considerate CM for considering the AIBOC( WB) request for reinstating the holiday on 16th August on #Janmashtami under N.I Act.
AIBOC( WB) writes to @MamataOfficial@Chandrimaaitc requesting reinstate holiday on #Janmashtami on Aug 16. When 21 States & UTs have declared holiday under NI Act,why lacs of Bankers in #WB would be denied of significant Hindu Festival.Hope considerate CM will consider it.
