Republicans have never once had 60 votes in the Senate yet they're curiously able to pass their legislative agenda every time they have even a sliver of a majority.
Hell, even as a minority Dems cannot help but pass right wing legislation to appease them.
Get new material.
Something that kind of sucks is that every single popular left-wing movement in my lifetime, from Occupy to BLM to the Bernie campaign, accomplished absolutely nothing before being hijacked by morally vacant scammers, is there a way we can not do that next time
@JohnathanPerk You guys just DO NOT LEARN, do you?
Why do you insist on running candidates you KNOW people don't like, then whine when people don't magically start to like them just because you chose to run them?
I mean....are you mentally deficient or something?
I can't think of a more perfect illustration of how broken American democracy is, than the fact that for the first time ever it's basically 100% certain who both parties' nominees are before the first primary, even though they're two of the most unpopular candidates in history.
The Kentucky gop, the people who claim they're "prolife", have proposed a bill that would permit lethal force against homeless people camping on private property.
Proving, yet again, the gop has no interest in saving lives or they'd propose a bill to help those homeless people.
@ericplaehn@ReformedToRome@Catholic_bro@Trent_Horn Of course. Which is why abortion exists.
Unless you want to argue that if you get into a car, you're not allowed to get any medical care if you crash - because you knew the possibility of a crash existed.
@sling438@ChrisMu24469747 If it's so critical, you'd think Dems would care enough to run someone electable.
But they're not, so apparently they're not too worried about Trump.
After all, Democracy *is* on the line, and we can’t risk having Biden act as a spoiler and siphon off votes from a more electable candidate like West or De La Cruz.
So check your privilege and start campaigning! This is the most important election of our lives!*
To the liberals saying I need to vote for Biden:
I see you. I hear you.
But now is not the time for us to throw away votes on vanity candidates like Biden. The incrementalism, genocide, forever wars, and economic austerity will have to wait until the next election cycle.
