The problem is that cuts have decimated HSE capacity to carry out these inspections.
There are now fewer than 500 main grade inspectors and they can barely fulfil the statutory target of 18k checks a year.
There needs to be much more detail on how these rules will be enforced.
As we emerge from the lockdown our priority is to keep lobbying for sector specific support. Too many creatives have been excluded from income support so far #NoCreativeLeftBehind
