I need help spreading awareness in the state of Florida that there is no law prohibiting anyone from installing a camera and their own nursing home. There are qualifications that must be met that protect HIPAA, the facility, and the employees. Plz help me spread this awareness.

when a nursing home employee enters the building, they are on the job. The employee does not NEED their OWN privacy in my mothers room. However, the patient resident NEEDS transparency for what happens in their room!!.

Many nursing facilities will tell a family that a camera will invade the “privacy of the employee!” However, when a nursing home employee enters the building, they are on the job. They do NOT need their privacy in my mother’s room!!!

post a facility’s name and address everywhere if they deny your request to install a camera with a statement that warns people that the facility will not allow cameras and refuses transparency.

I need people to share that “currently in the state of Florida, there is no law against anyone installing a camera within their nursing-home room so they should install one immediately. If the facility tells them to take it down, they should not! They should, however, run away!!
