A note that if Serzh Sargsyan explicitly denied his Khojaly quote existed, this article would have mentioned it. Instead the debate is focused on the context surrounding the words not their Russian existence themselves.

It is actually kinda hilarious. We collectively care about FIFA Soccer about as much as Olympic synchronized swimming.
And all of the infrastructure being used was quietly setup in a few days during the off season between hosted monster truck shows and indoor PBR rodeo events.
Now if we can just beat some more countries and then we can all forget about this for the next 4 years and go back to constructing enormous air conditioned stadiums for real sporting events.
@JoeyZR1@secnumbersguy I don't think non Americans understand that the US is economically greater than the whole of Europe which explains why there are a plethora of stadiums and even colleges have the largest stadiums in the world, but soccer fans would kill (literally) for their team.
@TWilsonOttawa Either the French requirement for SCC justices needs to be nixed or more applicants in Western Canada need to learn French. A judge (a scumbag too) that has 7 years experience at a trial level court being shortlisted for recommendation is ridiculous.
@chriscfore@rsxfan I've noticed players struggle to aim straight when there is a 1 to 2 second opening but also under pressure with balls going way off target. However on corner and free kicks, they are extremely accurate and masters and bending the ball in the air.
@rsxfan@chriscfore Have an extra time of 20 minutes for group stage matches. 1st 10 minutes is 7v7, 2nd 10 minutes is 5v5. First to score wins. If still tied, use a penalty shootout. Or just use regular extra time and penalties like soccer does for elimination matches.
@chriscfore While ties were always there, soccer used to be much more high scoring and defences became more effective over time. That said, other leagues/sports have eliminated ties. Hockey did it, college football did it. But the tiebreakers very in quality.
Today's World Cup matches is exactly why I've never been a soccer fan!
4 matches
0 winners!!
Remove the goalies; NOW we have a game!!!
How do you play a game, and not have a winner?!
Completely stupid.
It's like CIFSD allowing ties in football, dumb!!
@bill2car@KGrahamContent There are sports that not popular in the United States that are the antithesis of the problems of soccer, and a sport (basketball) that has some of the problems (price gouging, flopping) that are popular in the US.
@RealAnujX Richer economy and screwing taxpayers over. These stadiums without exception are NFL ones. The NFL is the richest sports league in the world and unlike in Europe, team stadiums save for a few are majority taxpayer funded. There are larger college stadiums that are lower qualit
@ModmanTV@visegrad24 This is easily fixable as judges are combining a common law doctrine with the criminal beyond a reasonable standard. There is no overriding federal law and if Australian states wanted to get rid of the doctrine, they could easily do so with legislation.
@vasobre@visegrad24 Canada is damn insane with its youth criminal justice laws but we don't have a 'doli incapax' BS. If your 13, you can be tried under YCJA and then get 2 to 3 years time served and get released to bash more heads in. The UK got rid of that crap in the 1990's.
@vtchakarova It will be built out of a collapsed Chinese housing bubble, a US Keynesian inflation pop, EU stagnation, a failed Russian petrostate, and a Japanese retirement colony, and if technology advances, the Gulf States will become a Call of Duty campaign.
@sarobertson_ Europe is an technologically non-innovative glorified retirement colony destined to become a bloated welfare state in an effort not to be a broke welfare state.
