Excited to share our new review on #GenerativeAI in Medicine!
This thorough (20-page) guide is written for all medical professionals, demystifying AI from core concepts (like neural networks) to recent Gen-AI hot topics like RAG & agents.
No prior AI background needed.

Congrats to @ButlerReni MD, professor of radiology & biomedical imaging @YaleMed, on being recognized by @JBI_SBI w/its Distinguished Review Award for the number, quality & timeliness of submitted reviews. Dr. Butler was 1 of only 14 reviewers to receive this distinguished award.
Hi #RadTwitter! I’m Mona Asghariahmadabad, MD, an international medical graduate and postdoctoral scholar at UCSF Radiology. I’m excited to be applying to radiology residency in #Match2027!
My research focuses on MRI in stroke and Alzheimer disease, and I’m eager to continue learning through clinical training.
Outside work, I’m usually looking for a new hiking trail, trying a new recipe, or working on a 3D printing project.
I’m looking forward to connecting with fellow applicants, residents, and faculty this season! @ProjectImg

I am honored to receive the RSNA 2026 Trainee Research Prize for our 2D to 3D project.
I am grateful for the support of my amazing mentors @Slowvak, @CodyWylesMD, @BrdKhsrv, and my incredible colleagues Dr. Kellen Mulford & @WadeYang4.
Looking forward to presenting at #RSNA2026.
⭐️ Traumatic cataract in this patient with right eye vision loss following blunt trauma 👁️
🔷Imaging shows decreased density of the abnormal right lens in comparison to the left lens
🔷Damage to the lens capsule from blunt or penetrating trauma allows aqueous (watery fluid) to hydrate lens fibers lowering the density

🎉 So happy to share that I'll have a podium talk, an educational exhibit, and two poster presentations at @RSNA 2026!
💡 Podium: From Vertebra to White Matter: Automated Chest CT Bone Density and Its Association With Early Metabolic Brain Aging (MESA)
📊 Posters:
• AI-Quantified Chest CT Reveals Faster Vertebral Bone Loss in Older Adults Exposed to Traffic-Related Air Pollution: MESA Cohort
• MyoAge: A Deep Learning CT-Based Muscle Age Clock Predicts Physical Function and Cardiovascular Risk in MESA Cohort
🧠 Educational exhibit: In Deep Trouble: Acute and Subacute Bilateral Deep Gray Matter Disease in Adults, an MRI Approach
Can't wait to be in Chicago in December and to learn from everyone there 🏙️

Can AI transform radiology education? This review explores how AI can enhance every stage of curriculum development, from needs assessment and adaptive learning to assessment and program management. Educators must stay at the center. https://t.co/vA61k88Umg
Excited to share our recent article in @RadioGraphics on advancing radiology education with artificial intelligence, where we discuss how AI can be integrated into every aspect of radiology education, from strengthening learning strategies to supporting curriculum management.
Honored and humbled to receive the 2026 @RSNA Honored Educator Award.
The truth is I learn far more from the RSNA community than I could ever pay back. Deeply grateful to my mentors, collaborators, and the RSNA for making education such a generous, two-way exchange🙏

Congratulations to @CsFuss, MD, PhD, professor of radiology & biomedical imaging @YaleMed, on being on being chosen for the @RSNA Honored Educator Award, recognizing her dedication to furthering the profession of radiology. https://t.co/cQo8Crybre
Kudos to our 4 @YaleMed faculty members who were recently honored for mentorship of our trainees: From left, Liva Andrejeva-Wright, MD; Jinsong Ouyang, PhD; @drmehj MD & @DougRothman4 PhD. Many thanks for all you do! https://t.co/CSHmehncC1
Congratulations to @BrdKhsrv, MD, MPH, MPHE, Diagnostic Radiology Resident @YaleMed, on being chosen for the @RSNA Honored Educator Award! https://t.co/cQo8CryJgM
Huge congratulations, Bardia! These awards are very well-deserved. It's always an honor, a pleasure, and a ton of fun to work alongside you and learn from you!🤩
A few months into residency, I keep asking a question med-ed training taught me: how do we actually learn, and how could it be better? That drives the education work I get to do, including shifting the radiologist bell curve right on practical AI at SIIM.
Grateful for the recent recognition — and even happier to share an RSNA Honored Educator nod with @PRouzrokh.
