The greatest moment in Bangladesh cricket history. Against a full strength Australia side. Some players go whole careers without a Test win or even a century on Australian soil. Highly impressive and will resonate massively and deliriously through Bangladesh.
This is exactly why Anthropic pisses me off.
You can keep saying the watermark doesn’t change ownership, doesn’t identify the user, doesn’t affect quality, doesn’t add hidden characters, and won’t look any different to readers. Fine. But that is not the whole issue. The issue is that you are still marking work that a human being may have thought through, structured, argued, and emotionally meant, just because AI helped process it.
AI assistance is not authorship. If I wrote the idea, the argument, the meaning, the emotional core, and the final judgment, then it is my work. If Claude helped translate it, polish a sentence, or make it clearer, that does not suddenly make Claude the author. But a watermark absolutely changes how people perceive authorship. People are not going to say, “Claude may have been involved in processing this text.” They are going to say, “AI wrote this.”
And honestly, who the hell are you to do that to my writing? Who gave you the right to stamp your model’s involvement onto work that came from my thoughts, my experience, my voice, and my judgment? You can say it does not change ownership all you want, but socially, reputationally, and creatively, it absolutely changes how the work is read.
So fine. Do whatever you want. Build your watermarking system. Follow whatever framework you want. I’m not using Claude. Good luck.
F1 this year isn't feeling real to me at all like i don't know if it's the schedule or the new regs but is anyone else feeling extremely dissociated from it 😭😭😭
For more than 200 yrs, thousands of books & articles have been written about the history of the peopling of India, esp on the Harappan ppl & Aryan migrations. Here comes yet another super-long article.
But I hope this one finds a few readers. I wrote it.

This will be my Mumbai New York connect master 🧵 about my 2 bae bay cities.
Where I compile historic overlaps & parallels I've noticed over the years.
1. Manhattan means Girgaon! Literally! Both names mean Hilly Place in Munsee & Marathi respectively. Hills mostly gone.
‘Now, in old age, I do regret not having a child,’ Romila Thapar said. ‘I don’t regret not having a formal husband. I do regret not having a child – I would love to have a sort of continuity.’

@avtansa this came up recently in a family discussion: Why do some Indian languages identify smell only in good or bad terms eg. sugandh or vaas, while others have a neutral word eg. mahak?
Japan makes eight billion dollars a year exporting gas. Japan doesn’t produce any gas. They buy it from Australia and on-sell it. Australia is governed by idiots. #auspol
And why is this only disclosed at boarding gate, not at the security screening? Saw so many people purchase water and then having to throw away the full bottles at the gate.
More guidance for foreign news desks. Memo 3.
Things are slipping again. Correspondents please note the following:
1) Lebanon is a country, even though majority Muslim. It includes ‘south Lebanon’. Another country setting up a ‘security zone’ there is called ‘an invasion.’

Quite the lede from The Economist: and quite the cover.
“Although President Donald Trump says he has “destroyed 100% of Iran’s Military Capability”, the 0% that remains is playing havoc with the global economy.” And now quite the cover: @glcarlstrom
Six centuries ago, Ibn Khaldun explained why powerful empires collapse.
Not because enemies suddenly become stronger. Because prosperity erodes the discipline, courage, and unity that built the empire in the first place.
Meanwhile poorer and harsher societies still possess those qualities.
History is full of wealthy civilizations that lost to people who simply had greater endurance, cohesion, and willingness to fight.
the first F1 story of the season was “leclerc got married and his dog was there” the second story is “Aston Martin built a car that will kill the driver if they try to complete a full race.” Perfect sport, no notes
