Got nix to build on Fedora ppc64le (POWER9). Took two days and three full bootstraps. Thread for anyone hitting the same wall. 🧵

Patches are tiny and target stable parts of the tree. Easy to rebase against upstream when nixpkgs
moves. Hopefully someone refreshes ppc64le bootstrap-tools eventually and these become unnecessary, but
I'm not holding my breath.
