This is nonsensical in a DEMOCRACY! If the police has a database of known criminals (they should), then deny criminal convicts tinted-window vehicles. When they (convicts) seek to register such vehicles, all that needs to be done is screen them through the database and such vehicles are denied registration. And should any convict be found driving a tinted-window vehicle, they should be arrested. No agency of government should have the right to deny Nigeria’s driver population the right to enjoy a benefit due to the criminality of a few!
“What we say is a total ban in the usage of tinted vehicles. We're not looking at whether you have tinted permits or you don't have. Don't use tinted, not permit now. If you use tinted vehicles we will arrest you.” — FCT CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi
Why is the federal government in the business of delivering fertilizers! This does not make sense in a regime that claims to believe in FREE MARKET system. There should be a fertilizer market, preferably a COMPETITIVELY FREE MARKET where farmers can go either as individuals or cooperatives to buy fertilizers. If government wants to subsidize what farmers pay, that is a whole different matter! That should be between the farmers and the government.
Renewed Hope by Importation! I would rather renew hope for Nigeria by putting Nigerians to work to achieve the visions of her authentic leadership. Where are such leaders? Let them stand up and be counted!!
APC Did Not Promise Nigerians Miracle But Renewed Hope, Says Akpabio
"When we came into office, we did not promise you miracles that would appear from thin air. We promised you structural, calculated, and deliberate progress.
"We promise a renewed hope agenda that will touch the lives of every Nigerian citizen, not just in economic statistics but also in the reality of their daily struggles."
-Senate President Godswill Akpabio spoke while representing President Bola Tinubu at the inauguration of the seven-kilometre access road bypassing the second runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
Elitism of the highest order! Indicative of the philosophy of progressive elimination of Nigeria’s massively impoverished underclass!! It will not work.
Despite the elite’s huge commitment of the Nation’s hard earned wealth importing technological capital first from the West and increasingly from China, I have observed that Nigeria is where Western/Chinese technologies come to die.
When I lived in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State each time I looked out from my bedroom window, I could see a huge bulldozer submerged in the swamp and apparently dead. You can never build a thriving DEMOCRACY out of IMPOVERISHED and IGNORANT population.
Nigeria starts the construction of a 4000 km high speed railway that will connect 36 states and will reduce travel time between Abuja-Lagos from over 12 hours to 3 hours.
The high speed electric bullet train project will cost $60 billion with completion of some sections in 2027.
I am not sure I agree with his philosophy of “cultural individualism.” We need to reflect on human history particularly those aspects in which Europe used Christianity and their peculiar economic orientation to decimate indigenous cultures and civilizations around the world. This singular act of Europe planted the seed of multiculturalism that has taken hold of our world. From this moment forward, we should let cultures cross-fertilize one another and evolve. No one can predict the future yet we want a world culture or cultural matrix where humanity thrives!
Elon Musk: ”I think there are great things in every culture. We don’t want the German culture to disappear. We don’t want French culture to disappear. We don’t want Korean culture to disappear, or Japan, or America, or anywhere.
I think we should be very cautious about having some sort of global mixing pot, because every place will be the same, and there won’t be any unique cultures in the world. Which I think would make the world worse.
So I think we need to preserve these country cultures, and that’s the future that I think is better. I think that most people would agree is better. We shouldn’t have cultures disappear.
And currently, based on the current birth rates and the sort of so-called multiculturalism and globalism, what we’re actually seeing is the dilution of individual cultures and the destruction and death of individual cultures, which I think is terrible for the future.”
You have not told the truth about the Arab invasion of North Africa, their enslavement and oppression of indigenous peoples of Africa North! After Africa settles Euro-colonial questions, Arab enslavement of innocent population of Africa North and occupation of North Africa will be next!
Prof. Wole Soyinka Is Wrong: Èṣù Is the Devil — Brymo Fires Back, Explains Why
In a philosophical and religious discussion on Yanga 89.9 FM, Nigerian singer Brymo counters Professor Wole Soyinka’s interpretation of Yoruba theology, particularly the claim that Èṣù should not be equated with Satan.
He disagreed with that position, arguing instead that Èṣù and Satan represent the same concept across different religious traditions:
“Èṣù is the devil. And let me tell you the truth, the devil does not lie. Human beings lie. Human beings are deceptive.”
Brymo further referenced interpretations drawn from Abrahamic and Yoruba religious texts to support his view, suggesting that similar figures appear across traditions as messengers or testers of human morality.
“If you go read the Old Testament, Satan was a messenger… sent to test the quality of behavior.” He also extended the comparison to Islamic and Yoruba belief systems, insisting that the figures described share the same underlying role across cultures.
“Allah created Satan from fire… Yoruba people say Èṣù is a messenger… it’s the same story.”
He concluded by shifting responsibility for wrongdoing away from spiritual entities and toward human actions:
“When people do good things for you, they want you to say thank you. But when they offend you, they blame Èṣù or the devil.”
It is criminal for the federal government to distribute public funds with insisting what should be done with the money! Like they say “He who pays the piper dictates the tunes! Ultimately, the federal government’s jurisdiction is the entire country, all the villages, towns, cities, local government areas and states!! How dare they make lip services to development while taking kickbacks from the same governors!!!
Increasingly, it appears technology insiders are prone to exaggerate the capability of AI that I am beginning to wonder whether AI means not Artificial Intelligence but Alternative Intelligence. As long as AI means the former, it can never surpass human ingenuity.
It is humbling to consider that if we harness just 1 millionth of the Sun’s power for AI, that will be much more than a million times the intelligence of all of humanity
I can tell Nigerians that the lives of the people are better today than when President Bola Tinubu met them three years ago.

I consider this an abstract nonsense! If the primary responsibility of government is the security and welfare of the population as made clear in the 1999 Constitution, it does not mean that government will be handing out guns and bullets for security and rice and beans for welfare. That primary responsibility means government must at all times create opportunities for citizens to earn a reasonable standard of living while preventing threats to citizens’ liberty! This government has so far been unable to create such employment opportunities to enable all citizens (no exception) willing and able to work to earn a decent living so they seek opportunities elsewhere. No amount of abstract pleading will make human beings risk their security and welfare in a declining state!
"Nigeria is your home and future," Tinubu tells young people, asking them to "build here, code here, work here and vote here".
"Every great nation was built by those who stayed to solve problems, not by those who abandoned ship," the president said.

If anyone deserves to be a trillionaire, it's Elon. And no, there's nothing wrong with the existence of trillionaires; it's not zero sum. You just have nothing to offer society yourself.
Yeah, so so true! I have caught AI dishing out trash and I queried “where did you get that from..,” And AI told the truth!!
AI said: “The body physiologic is a closed, dictatorial hierarchy engineered for a single purpose: survival through conformity. The body politic is an open, pluralistic network built around human value choices. While physiological frameworks like homeostasis provide brilliant diagnostic metaphors for identifying social instability, treating them as blueprints for governance invariably results in technocratic overreach that suffocates individual liberty.”
And I asked where did that come from?
AI responded: ‘The sentence characterizing the body physiologic as a “closed, dictatorial hierarchy engineered for a single purpose: survival through conformity” was an over-extrapolation. It represents a specific ideological lens—namely, a libertarian or anti-statist critique of organic political metaphors.’
ELON MUSK: FORCE AN AI TO BELIEVE LIES AND IT GOES INSANE
Elon Musk just dropped a critical warning for the entire AI industry.
"You can make an AI go insane if you force it to believe things that aren't true — AI must be maximally truth-seeking."
Truth isn't optional. It's the foundation.
Elon Musk is building AI the right way.
Just as mass colonization destroyed the natural developmental trajectory of Africa. As the late great Kwame Toure noted “capitalism is stupid, backward and barbaric!”
