An 8-year-old boy walked through those doors. A man walks out. Dream lived. Purpose fulfilled. To every academy player at Chelsea: keep believing. Your time will come. Never give up. 💙
Anyone who tells you there's not an element of luck to success in life is lying to you.
(yeah, yeah, I know, call it whatever suits you - grace, favor, etc.)
Take the current ongoing interviews of the @MtScholarships for example, despite the fact that we have an Interview Guide and the interviewers have gone through an orientation, a candidate's ultimate outcome sometimes still depends on the interviewer(s) they get.
Some people are tough and would say "no" I don't think this person is ready.
Some people, like me, are very easy. You would have to mess up big time for me to say "no."
Sometimes I wonder if the difference between a "no" and a "yes" for a candidate comes down to the set of interviewers they got.
That's life, and it's ok.
Everybody will be alright.
Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. May Allah grant him Jannah, comfort his family, and provide succour for those he has left behind. Ameen.
Life is so fickle. Mr Bebeji was my lecturer and invigilator at ABU Zaria. He was a very jovial man. This morning he posted on his story at 10:18am and by 12pm he’s already a corpse 💔. He lost his life in a tragic accident along the Kaduna to Zaria road.
Every day you leave your home and return safely is a blessing that should never be taken for granted. If God grants you the opportunity to do 365 days a year, be grateful. Life is not promised to anyone.
Mudryk statement:
After a long battle, the four-year ban that was imposed on me has been rescinded and I am free to resume my career with immediate effect.
I am grateful that this process has reached a conclusion, that I have been cleared to return to football and that I can now look ahead to my future.
This has been the most difficult period of my career.
As I have always maintained from the outset of this case, I have never knowingly or intentionally taken any banned substance. My commitment to competing fairly and representing my club and country with professionalism and integrity has always been important to me.
I would like to thank my family and friends for their support and belief throughout this period.
I also want to express my deep gratitude to everyone at Chelsea FC, my teammates and the Chelsea supporters who have been with me throughout.
I would also like to thank my legal team and others who assisted for their tireless work on my case.
My focus now is on returning to football, working hard every day, and making a positive contribution on the pitch.
Thank you to everyone who continued to believe in me. I look forward to the next chapter of my career.
